Hokkaido Nippon-Ham vs. Saitama Seibu Lions Open Game (4th, ES CON FIELD)

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Yuma Imagawa hit Home Run.

He started as the second batter and left fielder. With the score at 1-0 in the bottom of the seventh inning, with two outs and no runner on base, he came up to bat for the fourth time. With count at 1-0, he caught a fastball thrown by pitcher Kaito Yoza, sending the ball into bullpen in left field. He had been hit up until his previous at-bat, but this hit made a big impact, scoring a valuable additional run late in the game.

Last season, Imagawa played in 18 games for the first team and hit his Home Run in three years. This season, he hopes to get more playing time and make a big impact from the exhibition games onwards.
