On the 3rd, Softbank announced that batting coach Takayuki Murakami would be leaving the team.
Coach Murakami served as a batting coach Chunichi Dragons from 2019 to 2021, and then became the first-team batting coach for Softbank in 2022. In 2023, he served as the second-team batting coach, and from 2024 he returned to the first-team batting coach position.
