“Thank you to all The Tigers fans and everyone involved for the past 15 years. This was so sudden that I was a little surprised and sad, but I believe that performing well in my new environment will be the best way to repay you. I will do my best to return to Koshien for the interleague games and show everyone that I am in good spirits. I hope you will continue to support me.”
