弓道知らずでも面白い!!最年少天皇盃 ・小越 VS 神童・熊倉 ― 法政伝説の大落と日大伝説の大前が激突「弓道ドリームマッチその①」

The dream match begins. The youngest man in history to win the Emperor’s Cup, known as a male prodigy. What was the origin of this male battle? Today , Gunma Prefecture’s Kumakura Takuma will be taking a 10-question kanji test. We’ll have three minutes from now until 6 o’clock, so let’s get started. Please go ahead! Kumakura is a cram school teacher who teaches elementary and junior high school students. He shone in the history of university Kyudo in his four years of league matches. Even on YouTube… Kumakura’s shots are still the most replayed. Nihon University’s legendary Omae (the first archer) has been handcrafting the curriculum used for the third-year classes since then. Why “cram school teacher”? Originally, I wanted to be a school teacher, and even while I was doing it, I was really attracted to the idea of a job where I could teach people, so I went to this cram school for elementary and junior high school , and the excitement I felt when I went from “I don’t understand” to “I get it” was something I felt, and I went on to college because of Kyudo. In high school and university, if there was something you wanted to do at that time, it was my homeroom teacher who helped you with that at the cram school, and I am who I am today. If it weren’t for that one word from the cram school, I wouldn’t have continued Kyudo, and in high school and university, I was able to achieve good results and had a fun student Kyudo life, but without the words of my teacher, there wouldn’t have been “the legendary Omae.”He said that his current job, in which he is in charge of around 250 impressionable elementary and junior high school students, is extremely busy during his lunch break. The Emperor’s Cup was held and Ogoshi-san won, right? After seeing that, both myself and the people who have been looked after in my prefecture have been watching this for the past two days and thinking , “I can’t lose.” What are your thoughts on Kyudo after graduation? In my first and second years as a member of society, I didn’t really know the ins and outs of work, so I ended up not even shooting a bow. But at the end of August, the Kanto region of the National Athletic Meet was held in Gunma, and when I saw it, everyone, including Ogoshi, was competing. Of course, all the famous people from when I was a university student were there, and when I saw that, I felt a strange competitive spirit. After all, if I competed, I was sure I would hit the target , and after all, I’ve been doing the sport for over 10 years, so I wanted to do it. Kumakura challenged the 2025 best archer to a serious challenge. Ogoshi Tomoyasu, who is in charge of sales for Kanagawa Prefecture and Japan, proposes corporate systems and sells software licenses. I feel like I’m working the most when I’m at a client’s site and having meetings and chatting about various things. He is a legendary dropout from Hosei University (the last archer), and is known as the “earth-shattering archer.” His sharp gaze and competitive spirit are unmatched. His university years from 2016 to 2019 coincided with the expansion of video culture, and when he saw Ogoshi on YouTube, archery boys all over Japan became crazy about him. After entering university, “I watched Ogoshi all the time.” He would say things like, “I want to go to Hosei University and be as successful as Ogoshi-san,” and his juniors would say, “Oh, I see.” Those who were doing it were working so hard, so Kumakura looked up to Ogoshi, who was three years older than him. When I was in high school, I would always watch Ogoshi-san on YouTube, and if I were a normal high school student, I’d think he was so cool and I wanted to be like him, but I always wondered how I could beat him. I had no choice but to go to a different school , and I thought I’d go to Nihon University and crush those guys in my first year, but when I actually went, it was hard to win individual matches, and there was a difference in team matches, so I never got a chance to go one-on-one with Ogoshi-san when I was a university student, and he still remains an object of admiration, and our official match records are also the same. In four years of league matches, Ogoshi shot 320 times and hit 310 times. In university league matches, Ogoshi and Kumakura’s overall record over four years is just like Kumakura’s, and is inhuman. Ogoshi also put down archery for two years after graduating, and when he decided to resume Kyudo as a working adult, he wanted to set a big goal for himself, and he thought it would have been good if he had won the Emperor’s Cup when he was in his 30s , but when it actually came to the fact that he was able to compete in the Emperor’s Cup, and I’m 28 now, if I win, I’ll be the youngest, so I was aiming for that, and I won the Emperor’s Cup as planned. In my case , I think that the fact that I can hit the target even when I miss is a strength of mine in a sense. Even if my shot is off, I keep the key points in mind so the arrow will fly. I’ve always been good at it, but I think those arrows have to miss, so you have to shoot when they’re meant to hit. In other words, Ogoshi, with Kumakura’s return, of course, I have no intention of losing, I’m going to go with the determination to win, but of course I’ll do my best, and I don’t miss the average target, so I want to approach the actual competition as if it were a serious match, and if I’m going to do it, I have to win, and I want to win. Many of the players who have entered the workforce have put down their bows, and even Ogoshi has overcome this hiatus and become an object of admiration once again . His appearance gave someone the push they need to compete against that person. The stage for the showdown will be Nihon University Kyudo Hall. Who will win? Ogoshi has only four shots left to lead, Kumakura has caught up and if he scores it will go into extra innings Kumakura ◯◯◯✕ ◯◯◯◯ ◯◯◯◯ 11 Victory The final stand in the final league match of my university life It was exactly at that target that all four team members hit the target As I pulled, I remembered my time in university and got desperate I couldn’t use any of my tricks, I couldn’t get away, and we hadn’t met much so I couldn’t hang on at all In the midst of it all it got gritty, but I remembered that gritty feeling I used bamboo arrows again today, but they were in pretty good condition and I hadn’t even pulled one out once, including in practice, but I missed, so it was a bit of a shock This is the first arrow that hit in practice, but the last arrow that missed is in this dent It was truly a close call and I was a little too soft and it showed on the arrow We were inexperienced This heated battle between working adults will be passed on to the next generation Both captains of the Nihon University Kyudo club No matter how old you are, you become stronger in Kyudo. I don’t think that anyone can do this, so I feel that it is a goal that I will definitely reach someday . I would like to thank the Nihon University Kyudo Club for providing me with a stage to perform this . And… I will continue to point my camera at people who are devoted to something, and I would like to thank the courage of these two people and their masterful actions.
