Masahiro Tanaka (#11) of the Tokyo Giants earned his third win of the season on September 30 at Tokyo Dome in a game against the Chunichi Dragons, reaching 200 career victories across Japan and the United States — becoming only the fourth player in history to achieve this milestone.

Tanaka began his professional career with the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles in 2007, winning 11 games in his rookie season and capturing Rookie of the Year honors. In 2014, he joined the New York Yankees, where he recorded 10 or more wins in six consecutive seasons. Ahead of the 2025 season, he signed with the Giants and has now reached this landmark achievement.

His career record stands at 122 wins, 72 losses, and 3 saves in Japanese professional baseball, along with 78 wins and 46 losses in Major League Baseball.
