Rakuten ‘s first draft pick, infielder Rui Rui Muneyama, who started as the fifth batter and starting line-up for the first time in four games, hit a single to right field in his second at-bat with one out and a runner on first base in the fourth inning, widening the gap to his 100th hit in his 107th game of the season. He is the second rookie this season to hit 100 or more hit, following Lotte Marine’s Nishikawa.

　３月２８日のオリックス戦（京セラＤ）に２番・遊撃で開幕スタメンを果たし、この試合の第４打席でプロ初安打となる右前打を記録。そこから４度の猛打賞など安打を積み重ねてきた。楽天で１年目に１００安打以上を達成した野手は、１１８安打の２０１６年・茂木、１１０安打の２００７年・渡辺、１０９安打の２０２０年・小深田に続き４人目となる。今季は１６日現在で打率２割６分１厘、２５打点、３本塁打の成績を残している。
