Welcome down to the field, ladies and gentlemen, for the second annual baseball championship 2025 broadcast game between the Black Sheep and the Sonic. As you guys seen from the coin toss, the Black Sheep elected to be the away team, so they will be batting first. The defending champions on the mound, Thomas Hall Jr. with the first pitch. Misses for a ball and we are underway. Captain versus captain. Wall Jr. versus Tion White number seven as he misses there. Let’s go. Tion will be on first. First runner that they have aboard. There are some new changes to the baseball championship this year compared to last year. The first one already being bases uh runners already on base this year compared to last year. That one is in there for a strike and Rashine is set down. One out. One on, one out. And now it is the first AB for the rookie Brandon Gvala. And the pitch that one misses. He dodges away and Tion will steal second base. The new rule to the SSC Baseball Championship as runners are allowed to steal base. When the pitcher throws a ball, the runner in motion is able to steal. As long as the pitcher is on the rubber, if the pitcher is not on the rubber, they cannot steal. Will be illegal steel. So during a ball or during a strike now during a strike the runner would be forced to go back. That one misses and Gvala is on. Dion with another AB as so far it’s three on three. Their rookie D star will be coming later. That one misses and now Tion is chirping at the captain of the Sonic. Probably not the best thing to do. Base is loaded. They have a chance to put up a run early here. And there it is. Rasheen is on. And so far they are taking advantage of Paul Jr. throwing wildly. Three nothing game heading to the bottom of the first. as the Sonic are a team known to try to score a lot of runs going off of last year and it looks like the Black Sheep are going to go with Rasheen Presberry from last year. Can he make up from pretty rough outing with the Chiefs? Swing and a miss. He got him. Paul Jr. swinging wildly at a pitch that didn’t even reach the strike zone. One gone. And that’s exactly what you need against this team. Go for the [ __ ] pitches, [ __ ] That one bounces out the plate. So, the new rule in SSSE, at least for the baseball championship is for the stealing. If a pitcher throws a ball and the runner’s in motion, they can steal. If it is a strike, the runner has to go back. And if it is a strikeout, that would be a double play. Runner would be out and as well as the batter. the the runners can lead off. And it is optional for the pitcher to pick off a runner if he if he chooses to do so. I’m sure Hall Jr.’s trying to make up for that strike out the pitch. Swing and that’s hit center field and that one looking skyed and no one can get it. Tion had a hand on it. A run will score. It’s a three to one game on an RBI single. on Thomas Hall Jr. to center field off the hands of Tion White. So 3-1 game pitch and Derek Hood stole in time. I should have been on that but Hall Jr. did not so he it would it wouldn’t count as a legal steal. Runners at the corners now second pitch and it’s going to be a hit run. Hall Jr. steals on that pitch and that’s going to leak it into center field. Rolling around Hall Jr. rounding third and he is in an RBI single. Get those RBI for Jamar Gates. It is a tie game. Tied up at three immediately. You take a look at this pitch. Hall Jr. was waiting for that pitch to go immediately on contact and took clear advantage of stealing. and being able to make the runners make the runners make the field get out of position. So tied at three early on. Sonic seemed to score a lot of runs and they look to do that here and that hits it. Yeah, it did. Wait, that Yeah, it’s hit by pitch. If they start getting some hits, this will turn into a different ball game really fast. Inserted into the batting lineup will be DAR since he just arrived. Dar and Brandon Gvala was originally drafted to the black sheet from the unbrok game. So now those teams still remain. The only remaining Sonic was and he’s hit so he’s going to be on. And now once again, Rashene Presberry against Hall Jr. So far, it has not been as easy getting on base in this game. And he got him on the swing again. Two outs, two gone. So far, Hall Jr. has been able to just carve down. Uh, Tion White and Rashene Presberry. They have not fared well with Hall Jr. on the mound. And Gaval has had some tough times here so far in this game as well. The pitch swing and a miss. He got him again. How many strikeouts? Strikes out the side. Another donut slapped on the black sheep again on a perfect pitch at the top of the zone. I have a no hitter. Bottom third and Hall Jr. has not allowed a hit so far in his game. The runs have only come from walks and that’s the same way that the Black Sheep got a lot of runs in the first ever baseball championship game. The pitch swing and S line out to the chest off the chest of Brandon Gala into center field. All Junior is going to test it. Grounding second is coming home. The throw is not in time. So far, they’ve been trying to take advantage of getting as many runs as possible. Now it is legal as you guys seen earlier that Gvala he can stop and try to get Hall Jinger but if he throws a balljer’s going to be in there and he’s probably going to go and he will and he’s going to steal home again 11-3 no mercy from the Sonic so far offensively Wow, that one catches the outside corner. The offensive onslaught of the Sonic continue and they have yet to stop. Only one inning where the Black Sheep held them and they are just continuing that onslaught. The Black Sheep have work to do. 13-3 going into the fourth. If you’re on the black sheep side, you cannot afford going down with three straight outs. Of course, Hall Jr. is looking for that immediately. He has not allowed a hit and we’re already in the fourth inning. Lock in. Once again, for the second year in a row, the Black Sheep or the Sheep franchise as a whole have mainly scored runs One walks walks and hit by pitches for your mom. Oh my goodness. That’s crazy. And Tion and Hood are chirping. I don’t care. Dummy works. Got him on strikes looking again. My goodness. The turping between Hood and and White is just Yeah, the frustration might be settling in. It’s a lot of pressure being a new captain. Rebranded the team, but this is definitely not the debut they wanted. 13-3 game. The The Black Sheep need everything they possibly can. The Eagles down on strikes. Got him. Strike three looking. Two strikeouts looking. And Hall Jr. right now has settled into his own. The Black Sheep need one hit to get a rally started. They could do that at any given moment. The pitch swing and a miss. He got him again. Paul Jr. strikes out the side. We’re going to the bottom of the fourth. A dominant game on the mound for number 11. And so far Jamar and Hall Jr. and Dar thinks that the inning’s not over. The inning’s already over. Inning is already over. Three straight strikeouts. The Black Sheep really need a rally started and they need it fast. And so far it’s been depleting. I knew there was a police desperately needing one hit to get a rally started. Hood, were you uh were you out? Paul Jr.’s only been taken yard. Yeah, by Brandon Gvala. Oh, so the slam. Oh yeah, that’s the guy you want to get started. 13-3 still remains going to the fifth. Still a 13-3 game. Sonic right now. If they tack on more runs, this is Oh man, this is practically being a dead horse at this point. That one is going to get down and no one can feel that. aid in 91° weather and the Sonics somehow have scored 13. But runners still advanced and again we’re back at bases loaded. So quickly they can get more and that’s going to be fair. So, unfortunately, no one’s seen that one. But he’s seen that one here. Fifth inning now. First AB for or second AB for Dart. as he will be on. So now this could be when the rally started. The the black sheep have yet to get a hit. They need a hit to get a rally started. That’s going to be the most important thing. 14 game and they really need to get something started here. Oh is the captain. And oh my goodness, he was off the base. Star was off the base. He was off the base. He’s picked off. He’s out. I saw that. You better stay on the base when I’m on when I’m on the Dar is out picked off from staying off the base. Unbelievable. I was Sonic are pulling off all the different stops in this game. Like I said, you can pick off the runner and Dar was celebrating his captain and just he didn’t realize he wasn’t on the base. So here we go. The pitch now the sidearm did not get there. Tion can steal every base as much as he wants to, but if the black sheet don’t get a hit, that’s going to be their biggest downfall. The pitch that one misses. We’re still in the count and Tiana is going to be on. Now he’s on third. So, he could steal home. That’ll be one run back and then they’ll be down by only 10. Missed. Missed again. Tion steals on that pitch and he’s going to be in there. So that’s that was currently a ball four. So now Rashin is going to be on and it’s going to be a stolen base. Stole home. Now they are down by 10. So Hall Jinger not even worrying about the runners just trying to get these out. The pitch swing and it’s hit the center and that breaks up the no hitter. Brandon Gella does the job and Rashine is on third. the first hit of the game for the black sheep. And if you are on the sheep side, I know you’re out of your seat for that. And now another, you guys don’t know, but another elite hitter in D start bouncer up to the pitcher mound and he misses him. Junior misses the P on Merc will score it. T RBI double. Actually, no. That’s going to be counted as an error. That’s what I’m talking about. Yeah, that’s going to be touted as an error on Hall Jr. for missing the peg. It’s now a 14 to five game and the rally has started. Runners now on second and third with one out and the Sonic They’re going to call a mound visit. They are going to call a mound visit. By a lot of money, if you don’t like it, don’t swing, bro. All right, there you go. Some words from the rookie to his captain. They know they have a rally started here. And I know SSC fans was waiting for this moment. almost in almost in similarity to the sheep of 2024 where they came back and almost won that game. It was a walk-off walk that led the Sonic to their first championship. Mound visit now. The heat is really starting to pick up possibly for Hall Jr. The pitch missed again. Bases loaded now. So this is getting kind of interesting. Paul Jr. has been able to strike out Guvala and Rashin Presberry up until that hit. So now can Rasheen Does he have his first hit in him? No, he doesn’t. So got him looking strikeout. Bases are still loaded for Brandon Gavala now though. Breaks up the no hitter. He could do more damage here. A strikeout would be huge. Two outs. Base is loaded. Swing and that’s hit tow. And it is caught by Demar. Caught by Deamar Gates and the Sonic get out of it. Only let’s go. Only a one up loss. In the bottom of the fifth inning, 14-5. So right now, oh man, you can just see Jamar, he’s he’s not having none of this none of these antics from the black sheep, especially from the star. Look, you show up late unfortunately and he doesn’t even have a hit to show for it officially. 14 to five game and misses. four balls. So now five more runs could lead into the mercy of the inning. They’ve only gotten the Sonic with no runs in one inning. So that’s what the Black Sheep really need to do. They need to stop the onslaught, the the offense of the Sonic. I heard that first and the fetch misses possibly 91 degree weather. You’re not going to really be stealing too many bases in this game, but the Sonic so far really haven’t had to. How about Jamar and Thomas Saul Jr. in this game? Couple home runs, couple RBI’s, pickoff throw at at first, and then a very clutch catch by Jamar Gates. And that one is bunted. All rights for the first time. And that’s going to get through. And oh my goodness, Kabala collapses. He just collapses on the field. Can’t play. Can’t make the play on that. Bases are now loaded. Load it up for Jamar Gates. Miss another walk. And now it is a 15-5 game. The heat so far it seems to have only affected the black sheep so far swing and that one is going to be caught by Brandon. Get the out of here. Hood did not like that. The pitch swing and that’s hit into left and that’s going to get down. It’s fair. All Jr. is not going to go second. It is a 16 to5 game RBI single for Hall Jr. Ace is still loaded and that one is down and that one is going to reach no man’s land. Another run is going to come in and score. RBI single now for Jamar Gates. He has a couple RBI’s in this game and he’s adding to that. 17 to five and that one is a bloop. And that one’s going to be fair. And Jamar did not run. That’s a force out. That’s out. Jamar did not run. Two outs. So that’s going to be a force out. Now runners are going to be at the corner. So now Paul Jr. is actually a double away from the cycle, but he’s not going to be able to get that. I see him running. That’s a good decoy, right? 18 to five swing. And that’s hit the left. And that’s going to do it. 19 to five game RBI single for Paul Jr. And the Sonic add some insurance. A lot of runs crossing the plate. And as of right now, the Sonic are within As of right now, the Sonic are in the driver’s seat to be two-time champions. I know what’s coming top of the six and they are going to turn to Derek Hood. As you fans have seen before, Derek Hood finished off the last game, the unbro game. Let’s go. And all Jinger is going to give him the nod here in this game. 19 to five game. Top of six. Missed. So now Tiana’s going to be on. The Black Sheep have proven that they can start a rally. They got a couple runs off couple hits. They got a lot of work to do. And the fake out by Derek Hood. Tion looking intensely from first. The throw miss ball and Tion is going to be on at second. He’s been stealing a couple bases in this game. And that one is caught by Rashine. What’s that going to be called? He didn’t swing. Are they going to call ball for you? They’re they’re going to call a walk here. Rasheen is going to get the base. And now it’s going to be Brandon Gvala. Here we go. Runners at first and second now. The pitch that misses and Tiana is going to get third. So now they are moving. I think Kavala told uh Tion not to steal. That’s pretty smart because you want to get a lot of runs off here. If he hits a home run, I mean, that changes his game. The pitch swing and it’s hit the center field and that’s going to be fair. Dion is going to get in and he’s going to be safe. They’re calling for Rashine to come home, but he is not going to get there. 19-6 game. Runners still at the corners. I’m actually surprised that didn’t try for second. Wait, runners at the corners now. Hall Junior a little too fast. Rushing the the pitch swing and he was right. He did hit it and that’s going to be in center field. Go arounding second and I think the star is heading heading to second. The throw and the overthrow from Kala coming home. RBI double for the star that one and he got his hit. It’s a 19-8 game now. What you say? So now the black sheep y’all come once again starting a rally. They have a lot of work to do, but they’re they’re making up for it. Runner at second with no outs. Swing. Ground ball. And now it’s going to bounce off the base. Bounce off the mound. And that’s going to be a single for Tion. Now Tion gets a hit. Got that onehanded by the way. Still no outs. Derrick Hood is still trying to find a couple outs to get, but Raleigh has begun late in the game, but it’s starting. That miss is Tion steals now. So now is this I’m pretty sure all of us watching. They’re going to take time for a moment. I’m pretty sure all of us watching are wondering if this is going to be the black sheep moment. I mean, the sheep franchise have made a comeback late in the game last year. That one hits him. Hit him with his hand. Hits him on the hand. The inning continues. Derrick Hood has yet to find an out. 19-8. And can you imagine Gavala hitting a grand slam right now? What a situation here for the rookie. One guy against 69. Bases loaded. The sun is bright. The Sonic are one out away. The pitch heads. Oh my 19-9. Immediately switching back to square one. One out away from repeating as champions. Rashen up the former captain. The pitch swing and that’s going to be fair. It’s going to drop. Guala is going to move up and that’s going to be an RBI single and it’s going to be a tworun single for for Presberry. 19-1. The Black Sheep trying to continue this rally. One out away from being twotime champions. Derek Hood the pitch swinging has hit to center field. It is blocked by Damar. Dropped by Dear in center over the base running by the Black Sheep and the Sonic repeat as champions. Rashine got caught in the baseline and they win it by a final score of 19-1. Gave us a run.
