[Music] Hello, everyone. I’m Natsumi Yamashita. This time I put together a video of the day when Hiratsuka had good waves , so I thought I’d give a brief commentary on the riding. There’s a full range of riding, including laps, drifts, and tricks, so I think it’s a video that you won’t get bored of, and the waves are good, so please watch until the end. I’d like to start talking right away, but around here, I’m doing a bit of a down line over and over again. This is good. I wrestled a bit at the top, but I grabbed it and went forward. Then, I cut it out to the opposite side and wrapped it. The wrap was a bit loose, so it didn’t hit the tube at the end, but I rode on a good line . Then, this is a perfect drift. It’s really running sideways. The guy who has room even after grabbing is definitely a good style. Now, one turn. The wave is a bit small, but I’m running sideways and doing Barrel lN. The wrap side. I’m using the monkey a bit a lot around here. Well, pump and move forward without reeling. It was good that you decided not to reel and pumped right away. I think it’s good to do this in the sense that you can check your positioning movements when you’re in a bad position . This railed a little for a moment, but it slipped out when you applied one action, but you recovered. Nice ride . Take off, 360 shove-it, rip, and finally an ollie drop. Nice. [Music] Well, the mouth is a little deep, but the down-the-line is nice. This one turn is unique to the pintail. It feels like you’re making full use of its characteristics. [Music] Well, this one turned a little airy at the lip. Nice. [Music] Here, this is good. I felt like the wave didn’t have much power, so I used the lip to gain momentum. On the other hand, this one does a trick before the turn, turns, and completes with a 360 shove-it. Now, this is a monkey crawl line vector with a spinner and a rap. It’s a surprisingly difficult technique. Now, monkey crawl. Spraying up, lap line, tube. Nice. The spray just now was pretty nice. It’s proof that the tail is properly grounded and railed. Now, the wave has disappeared a little, so he went forward with a big spin. After turning, he does a trick. This is the same line. After turning, this time he goes out with a spinner monkey crawl and wraps. If he doesn’t actually wrap up like this, he’ll do a trick. Then, if he does wrap up, he’ll complete it like this. Nice. Looking at it like this, he’s turning pretty nicely. He takes off and runs a lap line to the side. This is pretty low and he’s off balance, but his recovery is good. I think it’s important to keep the balance within the range where you can recover. It gives you more room to ride , so this is nice. He’s flying an air 180 while going quite forward. Over the lip. Front side. Front wrap. Nice ride. It was a slightly gentle front wave, so he just turned until he wrapped. Now, that’s a lap. This time it’s a backside lap. It seems like there are more backside laps . You might notice it when you watch. Well, in a wave that breaks like this, Peran can put a lap in the tube, but I think it tends to be hard to get a high score. On days like this, if you’re in a competition, you might need a one-trick, or you might try to aim for a high-quality flow like this , and it’s important to try out a few different lines. Well, this one took the tail out quite a bit and flew. I made a mistake, but I think it’s good. Now, take a sideway, take your knees out firmly, turn, and lap. This is an exquisite technique during the sideway. This kind of thing is for advanced riders, but it’s useful to have it. It can handle gaps and stuff . This is a trick. The big spin is also high. It’s pretty good, isn’t it? It’s close to the best ride, isn’t it? Just in terms of difficulty. You turn and here it’s a big spin with a high pop. I think this is pretty good. This one has a lot of initial speed. At the moment of takeoff , there was plenty of room for lap riding. Now, go forward with a sand drop, do an air 180, turn, and do another air 180. Combination ride. Now, a sideway to the shifty side. Board slide, rip, [music] It’s like a sideway to the other side. Now, take the tail out of the spinner a little, 180 air, lip. And now you’re done. The trick level is pretty high. [Applause] Now, take off. This is a pretty good one. Right. Nice. Down the line. You’ve flowed quite a distance now. Now, it’s a little hard to tell on the back of the takeoff wave, but you go to the lap line and the final winding is weak, so you take one action to complete it. That’s it. Nice complete. This also has a pretty nice initial speed. That’s good, if it was just a lap, it would be the best. Now, correct the trajectory and you’ve aired it. Grab air. Ah, the wave is a little crooked. Wow, that’s good. This lap, the one that ran sideways just now, and this one are both really good. So, which way should I turn this? The lap is good. There’s plenty of room. The tail is swung pretty nicely now. Now, three people have run. Now, this is a good position. My position was pretty good, this one. [Music] The lap is pretty nice. The tail is properly stepped on overall. I talked a little bit earlier about this thin wave , but rather than the way it rolls , I talked about a thin breaking wave, but I think that stepping on the tail creates a lot of room for the turn and it cuts in one shot, so I feel like there is a lot of room to overlap. If you can do that , especially between laps , the quality of your riding will improve significantly. It also leads to flowing in this way. I think it will be one of the techniques.
