Mariners vs. Cubs Game Highlights (6/22/25) | MLB Highlights
The third and final game of this weekend series between the Chicago Cubs and the Seattle Mariners. There’s two things right away that I think we should watch for Ray. He’s been vulnerable. It’s been against lefties and that first inning he can struggle a little bit. I highlight that in particular. You got Cal Raley hitting third today, so he’ll be hitting lefty against Ray and you just want to try to keep the ball down. Keep in the park, Alex JP Crawford to start things off, swinging a line drive to left field for a base hit JP with that hit the other way. So a leadoff single for Crawford Rodriguez out to right center field back at the war track. He makes the catch nice grab one away, one on one on. Here’s Cal Raley three home runs his first two games of this series. He goes after the first pitch, a high riser, center field. Cal Raley bombs away again straight away center field. It’s his fourth home run in three games on the north side. He just continues to charge through the record books number 31 this year for Cal Raley all season long Cal Raley has been ready to hit on that first pitch and once again, the first pitch he sees he turns it around. Here comes Cal Raley rounding third base and on his way home, it’s bobbled up there by Suzuki Rosa Tiptoes into second base. He drives in a run for the Mariners and they play a little add on here in the 5th 5 to 1. This is the one pitch today. Cal draws a walk in the Mariners bases loaded with one out here in the top of the eighth inning and continue to do what they’ve done all game long and that’s add on it has been constant traffic. Here comes hot hitting Donovan Solano up the middle hit, firm base hits field. Donovan Solano brings home two more and the Mariners have matched their season high 14 runs today against the Cubs. Donovan Solano continues his hot hitting five runs are in here in the top of the eighth inning and it’s now the Mariners 14 and the C six and the last hope for Chicago, it is Kyle Tucker.
