朗希、由伸のモノマネ登板に思わず吹き出し笑い続ける現地実況w「ロハスのこの投球フォームは何⁉︎山本のマネ⁉︎これは歴史に残るぞw」【日本語字幕】
[Music] [Music] [Music] Fore! Fore!chch! [Music] [Music] [Music] for [Music] [Music] [Music] for Coca-Cola. [Music] Roi Sasaki, it’s really about just keep on stacking those building blocks as a major league pitcher. For more right now, let’s head inside the stadium for the first time. Kristen Watson joins us live with the latest on the Dodgers 23-year-old phenom Roi Sasaki. Hi there, Kirsten. Hi, John. Well, as you guys were saying, Roi Sasaki is coming off of his best start of his young big league career. Even with talking to his teammates after his last one, they were saying they could see his confidence with his delivery, his demeanor on the mound. There was a shift in it. And even Dave Roberts said afterwards that he just needed an outing like that to recognize that he understands at this level. Today, Dave Roberts talked about what he’s hoping to see from him and how he can pick up where Yoshinobia Yamamoto left off yesterday. Last night was a pretty good blueprint on what to do. Um, you know, get ahead. uh mix in both of your breaking balls and certainly the split is uh his primary uh you know secondary pitch um command the fast ball and fill it up and so I think that um Yoshi had really good rhythm last night and if Roki can kind of simulate that follow that then uh we should be in good shape. Talked last night about Yoshovo and Roki having similar fast ball split heavy repertoires because of that. Would you eventually like to split them up into another rotation or is there a once a week schedule make that a little bit tough? Um yeah, I I I think that’s a fair question. I think um right now obviously with the once a week it’s kind of in the way the schedule the off days um it makes the most sense but when we get into April um things that’s when things can sort of open up um and uh you know the days of rest um for both those pitchers could possibly change where then um that conversation or that outcome might happen with how the rotation is set up at the moment. it is that Yoshino Yamamoto and then Roki Sasaki backto back and as Dave Roberts was saying they’re going to continue to keep them on that once a week schedule. So even if you look ahead for this home stand that Wednesday start where if it was regular rest it would be one in which Yoshino has a start. He’s not going to they’re going to have someone come in and be a spot starter for that one. It could potentially be Bobby Miller. He was pulled from his AAA game yesterday after only throwing 55 pitches. So, as much as Jay Roberts wasn’t willing to commit to it just yet, he did say there might be a a situation in which those two could relate to each other. But with keeping those guys, that’s the schedule that they had in playing in Japan. So, they want to keep them on that once a week schedule. And then once whether it’s players like Tony Gonellin who’s is working his way back to returning to the big league mound Clayton Kersha who’s also working his way back or someone like Sho Otani once they get to more of that six-man rotation which we’ve relatively been seeing here and there then it’s going to be more consistent but for now they are going to keep them in that kind of one-two spot with those two guys pitching behind each other and that means Yoshi will start next Friday in Texas against the Rangers. Kirstston, thank you very much. Gel Rohouse. Just what this game called for. Little bit of levity. Hey, not bad. Still looking for that first big league strikeout. Michael Bush. Oh, [Applause] okay. Uh, what’s this like for a hitter? I don’t know. I I can be honest with you. I’ve never When I played, this never happened. Never faced a position player. No. Taylor’s got it. There’s the first out of the inning. It’s the first time that Bush has not hit the ball hard this evening, right? He only hits missiles off of real pitchers. I shouldn’t say it wasn’t hard. It was still 95 miles an hour. That’s true. Using Yoshi’s glove worked last night. Let’s see. Was it the arm or was it the glove? What is this delivery he’s doing? Is he doing a Yamamoto impression? Yeah, he’s he’s doing it. This is so good. Look at that. Look at that. Oh, now it’s his neck. [Music] [Applause] This is all time. Oh, I hope he goes through the whole staff. [Applause] Just wiggling at his hips. Oh, called strike. Okay, he’s going to do somebody else here. Yamamoto again into center. Two up, two down for Landon [Music] Yamamoto. Yoshino Knack. I can tell you who doesn’t find this funny at all is Danby Swanson. Look at that. Staring into the duck out, too. [Music] [Applause] Gage Workman is looking for his first hit in the big leagues. And he’s got it against Miguel [Applause] Rojas. See if he gets a ball. Yep, there it goes. No shame in that, but also al also like a little bit. He’s part of him’s got to be like, “Dang, really?” Justin Turner does the thing you do, pretends to throw it away, authenticate that bad boy. It’ll go on the shelf and be a good story for Gage Workman who’s got a hit in the big leagues. Back to his knack delivery and a ball on her. [Applause] down to 41. I don’t know if it’s possible to throw it any slower and still get it to home plate. Miguel Rojos takes over and retires three of the four hitters that he faces. A pitcher being two other pitchers. I’m a dude playing a dude playing another dude. got some amazing coming for you here in this ninth inning if the warm-ups are any indication from Miguel Roas who’s been doing a right-handed Clayton Kershaw. Kind of looking forward to watching that. Yeah, me too. [Music] Yes. And then we’ll call it a [Applause] curveball. Carl Armstrong’s up there. Oh my gosh. 38 hit down the line. Base hit for K Armstrong. First one of the series. And a special thing for an LA kid with a hit against [Music] Kershaw. Number 15, Carson Kelly. That’s uncanny, man. That’s really good. That’s a big league double while laughing. Impressive. Carson Kelly. No pitchers have been able to get him out. See about a short stop. Who’s that? Oh, there was a long stride on the first picture. It’s somebody. Who is that? I know there’s people at home screaming at the TV. They have it. Is that Roki? It’s Roki. All [Music] right. Yeah, it is. Crushed. Gone. Second home run of the game for Carson Kelly. Second one allowed by [Applause] Sasaki. Kelly a perfect evening. Three for three, two [Applause] walks. It all counts on the back of a baseball card. Mhm. [Applause] Number eight. Outlandish offensive numbers for the Cubs. 13 runs on 17 hits in this [Applause] [Applause] game. H close to a perfect night himself. Three hits. Walk switch hitter is going to bat right-handed here. A wave and a miss. Turned it up to 60. He did. Blew it by him. Radar guns just jumped. [Applause] We back to Yamamoto here. I mean, we got to see a splitter, don’t we? These haven’t been splitters. Oh my gosh. I know you never hit against the position, but but how hard is that to be used to hitting 95 to hit 38? I mean, I mean, you’re thinking you’re thinking just wait and but you’re also thinking this is a free at bat in the big leagues here. This is a free hit. Help me myself out and the last thing you want to do is like hit something off the end of the bat like that. I mean, that’s an 0 for one. That just that that’s just frustrating. Nothing fun. Yeah, cuz if you hit a home run like Kelly just did, it’s like, well, yeah, you did what you should. It’s a position player, but any other outcome, it’s like, oh no, the floor is so low. Yeah, but at the end of the year, when it says 20 home runs, don’t say, but what if it’s a John Birdie will pinch it for Kyle Tucker. [Applause] waited on it, lofted it into left center field and a base hit. [Applause] Number nine, Miguel Lamaya. Laya with a two-run home run to finish off the bullpens night. Chase Luis Garcia from this game. First one of the year for Amaya. [Applause] Amaya didn’t start the game. Had to come in in the fifth for [Music] Suzuki. Had himself a pretty nice evening the rest of the way. Ooh, a quick pitch. Sorry, he [Applause] said number 29, Michael [Applause] Bush. Alex [Applause] Bush got some runners out there on base having a heck of an evening. Three hits, two runs batted in, three runs scored. Looked like Ichiro right there. Everybody doing impressions. Birdie in to score. Busch coast into second. His second double of the ball game. Nine total bases for Michael Bush. Tell you what, when arbitration comes around these count. Yeah. [Applause] Although, you know, the other side’s going to pull out. We have some evidence here that like to present our case. Just a picture of Miguel Rojas. [Applause] Betts get good shot. [Applause] Short stop. Dage Workman. Dage Workman. First career big league hit. His last time up. And now he crushes the ball to right center field and he’s got his first career extra base hit. Knocking in a pair and his first runs batted in in the big leagues. All right, night where the Cubs have 20 hits. Nico her just now gets his first. Couldn’t even get it out of my mouth. [Applause] Pete Crow having an opportunity to get two hits in the same inning here. Started it with a double. Five in the seventh, four in the eighth, five in the ninth. Going to be close to stirring up some history here. 16 runs on 21 hits and no runs given up. Nodding at Rojas. set up there for Pahz mercifully impersonating some of his teammates. Let’s head inside and hear from Miggy Row right now. I think when you look at this game, it’s just with the final score, it’s one you turn the page obviously was a positive with Broki’s outing, but with how you closed the game, uh you had quite some impersonations out there. How did this come about? Tell us everything. Yeah. Um I feel ever since last year when I got the opportunity to pitch, I was trying to imitate kind of my teammates um that I played behind a lot throughout the year. So, uh I was just trying to have a little bit of fun, you know, uh in a in a night like this where we couldn’t get it going at the play. And obviously, uh we had a the game was closed until fifth. Like you said, Rocky got a good outing. uh gave us the opportunity to be in the game. But uh I just I just feel like it’s part of the game, you know, like we’re going to we’re going to lose some like this. We’re going to win some uh the same way. I just I just feel like uh at that point we’re just trying to have a little bit of fun even though the game was um out of hand. Rocky said that he felt like your execution of his style of pitching was 100%. But what do you think was your best impersonation on the mound? Uh let me tell you something, Rocky is really it’s really uncomfortable to pitch like that. I don’t know how he can bring the leg up like that. And I think it was a bad decision. I should have I should have stayed with uh with the Yamamoto and and Lendon Knack combo. I think next time that I get opportunity to pitch, I going to I going to keep it with that. You know, Yamamoto’s uh they couldn’t figure out yesterday. I I should have do uh more Yamamoto, less Rocky. But I mean, it’s a learning experience and hopefully for the next time I just I just can’t pitch just one inning. I think that’s a that’s a key. The key is just one inning and done. Do you think you have to get feedback from Clayton Kershan just on your your righty version of his? Yeah, hopefully uh when I see him again, I know he’s going to pitch soon. Uh we’re really excited about seeing him pitch here, but uh hopefully he he got to see my performance, my couple pitches out of out of his windup. So uh um yeah, it was a little bit of fun with everybody. Well, if nothing else, it brought a little levity to what was a really ugly game for the Dodgers. James, at least the last three innings of this game. Heard him talking about impersonating some of his teammates. Did you have a favorite impersonation that he did tonight? It was definitely Sasaki, you know, for him able to get into that stance and be confident with it. I thought it was pretty special. I ready. Uh Roki, when you look at your outing today and just as a continuation of your outing in Philadelphia, do you feel like you’re continuing to catch your stride and progress in the right direction? Didn’t quite feel comfortable in my first inning, but felt like I hit a stride after that first inning and you know uh overall a lot better command. That was something that I was able to you know continue from my last outing. Yeah. Just to be able to get through five innings though. I mean is that something that means a lot to you considering that is your first time doing it in the big leagues? Just given the context that I haven’t reached the five inning mark the last three outings, I think it was really important for me to be able to reach that point this time and hope to be able to do that as a minimum going forward. How have you felt about the command of your splitter and how important is it going to be for that pitch to be in the strike zone at different points over the course of your riders? Yeah, it does put me in a little tough spot when I uh you know, considering that I don’t throw a variety of pitches. So today I had to lean on the slider at the end of the game uh to get something over the plate aside from my fast ball. But when my fastball command is good, um guys I feel like will swing a little bit more on my split. What do you think of the cat? really saved the day. Um, prevented a lot of runs and just overall felt like, you know, even in the first inning I was saved by the defense. I think when you look at the final score, you just want to turn the page on this one. But to see Miguel Rojos’s impersonation of you, just what was your reaction to it and what would you rate his his pitching performance? I would just say 100%. Even two stars ketchup. regardless of who’s behind the plate, I think, you know, I really struggled just overall with myself uh being able to perform and execute the pitches that the catchers were calling. So, uh Fore! Foreign! Foreign! [Music]
