The Pilots take the three nothing lead. And they still aren’t done. Zack Lopez with a runner on second smacks a base hit through the left side. Isaiah Dumont scores. Lopez to second on the throw. It is four nothing St. Joe’s still with only one out. Here’s a double play ball. Judah Forst to Davis Lynch to Ezra Goldfarb and the Jay-Hawks get out of the inning. Bottom of the third, still four nothing. Judah Forest at the plate. Hits a deep fly ball to center and it falls. Finland makes a great play in the outfield to keep Force to just two bags. An infield single puts runners on the corners. Dollar feels it, gets one out at second, then throws to first for the double play. A great game defensively for the freshman. The score is 5-1 St. Joe’s with a runner on third. A highf fly ball to right. Myle Akala makes the catch, throws home, and it’s an absolute dime. Not even time for the runner to slide as Kaden Choy applies the tag. Jay-Hawks looking to climb out of that four-run deficit. Choy smokes one to right center and that is triples. Ally Choy with a stand up triple. Next batter is Ezra Goldfarb and he chops one down the third baseline and into left field. An RBI double for Goldfarb, making it five to2 Notre Dame, but the Pilots continue to push him across. Seventh inning, Isaiah Dumont rips the ball to right field and it rolls a while. Finland scores a triple for Isaiah as the Pilots go on to win it 7-2. Now 4-0 in league to take over first place in the Bay County’s East. Thanks for watching.
