the first baseman Conor Joe to face James Paxton Paxton 5 and0 gets McCutchen on three pitches one strike out down six more to go on the ground to Muki comes in and makes the play swung out and a bouncer a short good one hot field to chest High by bets throws to First and it’s a one two three bottom of the first inning for James Paxton back to work facing Will Smith to Oscar Hernandez and Jason Hayward swing and a foul tip struck him out 100 blew it by so impressive you can’t teach that no you can’t swing in a flyball out to center field swinsky a few steps over to his left and the crowd already clapping in anticipation of the second out Hayward gets to that ball right field hit well it is off the wall so Jason Hayward has a two out double here in the second inning and this is Axton is chased out of this ball game in the second inning imagine that he had a perfect one two three inning with a strikeout in the first pirates with Runners at second and third waa here we go off the mid looks like it may be a pass ball almost looked like a cross up another run in it is 7 nothing as Reynolds crosses the plate Hayes Skies it to Center pz is underneath it and the catch is made the Pirates plate 11 score seven times Paulk back to the mound for the third it’s 7 to nothing Pirates the the fast Ball’s above 95 since being up here three for 36 off of them ground ball base hit leadoff knock for the Dodgers struck him out looking number five here’s Otani who went down swinging over his last eight games plus tonight Otani has struck out 14 times in 36 plate appearances and it’s 100 at the top of the zone change up misses two and one on Otani two and two two two pitch to Otani misses inside with 100 fans riding on every pitch all right gy up this ball swung out hammered Reynolds at the wall it’s out of here the second Home Run for the Dodgers against Paul SK that’s number six for AP and it’s now seven to three he turned a fast ball round in his first at bat and got a base hit on it well he’s been able to hit the breaking ball and that’s a slider which is really the main pitch that SK gives up home runs with and P has follows the routine pitch swinging a soft roller to short Gonzalez rounds it and gets it on the first off the line and that Aeron throw allows Taylor to reach struck him out looking he got a call there that’s number seven 101 pitch before was probably more of a strike than that and now The Showdown again Otani versus skin one-on one out the one-1 pitch Otani has a base hit to right his second knock of the night as the Dodgers with Runners grind out you know a few of these Innings tonight with a lot of pitches can they get through one more hitter he bounce to third Hayes going to race to the back can get there for the final out well two- two pitch to Freeman grounded up the middle and Freddy’s got his first hit of the game keeps the seventh inning alive for Will Smith Freeman steals second standing on 32 Smith Goes the other way for a knock RBI single for Will Smith it’s 8 to five just trying to overcome a seven nothing deficit walk to backto back walks by yarro certainly not what the doctor ordered here two aboard for ke Brian Hayes and yes just like that RBI single for haze 95 Pirates and at the corners now still only one out for Nick Gonzalez he’s already driven in three today and a line drive base hit for the hit machine Nicki G four ribbies for him 10 on the board for the Pirates 105 game get set for the top of the eighth inning Jason Hayward is his third hit of the night there won’t be a play three hits all three of them doubles and he swings it’sit a ground ball up the middle that’s a base hit they’re going to wave Hayward home he’ll Touch third and round it he’ll score standing up and Gavin Lux produces getting a run back it is now 10 to six and Sh Otani coming up that’s is at first base Gavin Lu is at second swing in a deep Fly ball out to right olivaris back warning track toward the corner and he’s got room he makes the catch and now you can exhale here we go ninth inning Pirates 10 Dodgers six and looking for the final three outs Here Comes David bnard into shallow right look at triolo race out to shallow right field to make a tremendous catch the second out Olivares and it’s triolo that splits olivaris Dodgers down to their final out to Oscar Hernandez pass bednard triolo on the first and rais the Jolly Roger against the Dodgers this time the Pirates win it 10-6
