[Music] Rodriguez you had the go ahead RBI against the Royals in Extra Innings on Sunday the Mariners have a five game lead in the west it is a good time to be Julio Rodriguez no ah definitely definitely it’s it’s a great time to me and be part of this team right now we have a really fun group here and we’re definitely enjoying playing some ball together hey one of the perks of being jrod is that you get to hang out with the legend himself Ichiro um talk about working with Ichiro and and what you’ve learned from him and being around him is like I mean it’s unbelievable you know like he’s he’s one of the gos one of the one of the best players to play this game and I feel like you can learn so much from him by just looking at him what he does how he still go about his business even to to his age after being done playing like I have never seen a guy like him like doing what he does at his age not even close he’s unbelievable just the things how he do he’s sneaky funny too right like a really good little like comedic actor like you see that in that bit you guys do he has a lot of fun uh definitely every time you know I feel like a lot of people think that he’s always so serious and everything but he he definitely love being out here like having fun with the guys out here he’s always throwing like the best one lers out there so uh it’s fun to have him around yeah dude he was awesome when he used to get the first base now you control the no fly zone for the Mariners and that being said if there’s anywhere in the world you would love to fly you can’t go to your hometown where would it be uh I want to go to Japan I feel like I want to go to Japan that’s that’s somewhere I want to fly right uh and just go and learn a little bit uh a little bit more about the culture and those things so I’m I’m PR a big fan great answer yeah great answer are you a big fan of Japanese food as well uh yeah I like I like some it’s it’s good I’m still the biggest fan of Dominican food though okay all right jrod before we let you go we have to do Secret SOS this is a part of the show where you tell us a secret about yourself that nobody knows now you got to open your lb nobody knows see um I feel like something do that I feel like people don’t think I would do is just reading reading manga like I like I said like I’m a big Japanese fans so I’ll be like reading anime a lot on the plane so I feel like that’s something I like to do that I know a lot of people know what’s your favorite one right on uh right now I’m reading well I just finished reading highq it’s like a volleyball one I was also reading yeah I was also reading this other one it’s called solo leveling that’s kind of like a little bit Korean has some ja Japanese stuff in there too but that’s that’s that’s one that I’m on right now that is so awesome oh that’s good man hey when you go to Japan at least you know you got a tour guide nir Rose so you’ll have fun over there I’m excited for that that is so awesome well jrod thanks for coming on the show and continued success this season we really love watching you all right thank you so much appreciate it guys for having me yeah thank you okay B thank you for
