Cleanup hitter and he does a non-traditional cleanup thing with a base hit bump with two outs and a runner in scoring position simo’s only one home run and 21 rippeys on the year lost 11-2 in that game in their opener against texas tech runner will scoot down to second base for simos
Bald strike three inning is over for this offense and gets him started with a single out to left [Applause] never change runner goes stolen base it’s this match up with fulford against rico [Applause] now a four pitch walk [Applause] gets the strikeout the inning is over quicker than you’d thought
Base hit for adams with two down [Applause] swing and a miss [Applause] There’ll be a stolen base in there for adams give him 11 out of 11. um they’ll leave a runner stranded at second base hampton gets out of the inning with a strikeout thanks to those guys for doing what they do no kidding what a what an incredible commitment
That is by those young men go to west point get through the rigors of that program and then of course become the leaders of our country that they will be of course jim foster feels a tremendous responsibility to make an impact on them in their opening game that balls touched

Came out of his elbow guard here dave that’s when you know you got some bad speed going a rocket into left center field and it has been a long time coming for parker kelly he gets the red raiders on the scoreboard runners in scoring position as he pops this one up
No tag on the play and that’ll be out number two wow got him hunter mead the top of the lineup for army that’s a base hit for hunter [Applause] complete student athletes and a runner goes don’t know if he’ll take his bat with him to cambridge
Big swing of the miss runner goes that one is past the third baseman parker kelly and that’ll get army’s second run home the aggressiveness pays off for the black knights they lead at 2-1 [Applause] and we just do not see this enough stealing third and making the defense not only the
Third baseman get there but the catcher throw you out the third baseman arrives on the run fulford throws it low and the ball scoots into left field that’s not a position you would ever hold your your hand in from a power standpoint now one thing you’ll notice [Applause]

What cal conley can bring to the to the table base knock there that one gets by the right fielder morel oh mead he’s going to come all the way in can he score him at the plate In right field and mead tried to go for the inside the park well that ball just took a little bit of a late hop as morel just kind of took it for granted and mead runs out of gas here coming home a perfect relay
And i tell you what he might have a case there dave but they’ll get the 9-4-2 put out as the call stands the moment deep to right center field that one is out of here home run cal conley number two this afternoon 15 on the year have yourself an afternoon 1-3 [Applause] Wow cal conley just putting on a show as if he hadn’t done enough already with the bat and the glove how about number two and stand up on him young fella just a bomb off the scoreboard and cal conley continues to that one is touched off the bat deep to
