Orix Buffaloes announces replacement of artificial turf at Kyocera Dome Osaka

On the 16th, Orix Buffaloes announced that the artificial turf at their home stadium, Kyocera Dome Osaka will be replaced in preparation for the start of the 2026 season.
This will be the first time Kyocera Dome Osaka ‘s artificial turf has been updated in eight years, since 2018. Renovation work began on February 14th of this year and is scheduled to be completed on February 28th. The artificial turf used is the same as in 2018, Mizuno Corporation’s MS Craft Baseball Turf, a baseball specific artificial turf.
The renovations have changed ground design, with the entire ground now outlined in brown and the rest of the field except for pitcher mound and the areas around the bases in green. baseball fans will get to see the new design for the first time at the WBC training matches (Hanshin Tigers vs. Korea, Orix Buffaloes vs. Japan) on March 2nd.
