Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks’ Carter Stewart Jr. has officially taken the mound for his first bullpen session!
Last season was a frustrating one for Stewart; after suffering a side injury during camp, he was forced to step away and even returned to the U.S. in April for rehab, ultimately finishing the year without a single first-team appearance.
Now, on a mission for a “complete comeback” and a spot in the starting rotation, he delivered 46 high-intensity pitches. It was a spirited session that showed he’s back and feeling better than ever!
