The Tokyo Giants have signed free-agent outfielder Go Matsumoto, who will wear No. 9.
Matsumoto, a right-handed outfielder, joined the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters as their second-round pick in the 2011 draft. In 2022, he won the Pacific League batting title with an exceptional .347 average.
