日本ハムの松本剛外野手が２２日、エスコンで開催されたファン感謝イベント「Ｆ ＦＥＳ」のオープニングであいさつを行った。選手会長としてマイクを握り、「寒い中、お集まりいただきありがとうございます。年に１回のファンの皆さまとの交流ということでたくさん触れ合う場もあると思います。皆さんに楽しんでもらうことはもちろん、我々選手も全力で楽しみたいと思いますので、短い時間ですけど、楽しんでいただけたうれしいなと思ってます。（会場に）来れてない人もいると聞いているので、テレビの前でも楽しんでもらって、会場は大きく盛り上がって一緒に楽しみましょう。よろしくお願いします」と笑顔で開式の言葉を述べた。
Regarding his currently declared free agency rights, he said on the 21st, “My main goal is to get ready for next season, so I feel mentally relieved and really want to do it as soon as possible.”
