the other day I made a tier list that was ranking all of the position players and pitchers in the American League West based around their projected f- War courtesy of fan graphs this is the top 20 of those players so mentions Jer Diaz and JJ BL day both coming in just 0.1 War short of cracking this top 20 but 20th is shortstop JP Crawford for the Seattle Mariners the worst shortstop in the American League West based around these projections which is kind of crazy to say but take a look at 14 through 16 you find the rest of them outside of Cory Seager who’s of course the of Short Stops in the American League West coming in at a 4.8 F4 projection this list these 20 players they seem relatively balanced the Angels coming in with two the Athletics coming in with three the Rangers coming in with four but they’re pretty close together at the top there the Mariners coming in with five and then the Astros are the kings of the top 20 coming in with six total players looking at this list though there is something to note the Mariners do have two of the top three of this list Julio Rodriguez being the number one projected player by F4 courtesy of fangraphs coming into the 2025 season I’m looking for a huge season out of Julio Rodriguez a top three MVP finish would certainly help out the mirers in their quest to try and get back to the playoffs let me know what you guys think down in the comments down below do these seem accurate based on what the projections should be and how it might shake out in 2025
