Los Angeles Lakers at Memphis Grizzlies with The Scoreboard
I believe I’m on. Welcome everybody to the scoreboard here at the Hardy Geek. Um we’ll be watching another Laker game. This is number I think it’s the third one I’ve actually broadcast. Um, it’s going to be the Lakers at the Memphis Grizzlies tonight. Um, one thing, depending upon the way the Dodger Blue Jay series goes tonight, I might actually cover that game tomorrow night since it’ll be game seven. Um, but, uh, we’ll see how that goes. Currently, the Dodgers are up 3 to one. I believe was the last time I looked in the top of the fifth. Let’s see if it’s still the Yeah, top of the fifth. They’re up three to one. So, we’ll see if they they win this game. If they do, it’ll go to game seven and I’ll cover that one tomorrow. Um yeah, tonight Grizzlies Lakers. Um the injury list is way less this in this game cuz Marcus Smart and Luca Donuch will be back for the Lakers. So the injury report for the Lakers, Adu Theierro will be out. Gabe Vincent, Maxi Clever, and LeBron. Looks like Maxi Cleber might be returning around the 5th of November, which is next week. So we’ll see. We could see him for the first time ever in a Lier uniform. Gabe Vincent looks like he’s out estimated until the 12th of November. And then LeBron and Aduierro are currently listed as the 18th. Um the Memphis Grizzlies, Ty Jerome is out till the 18th. Brandon Clark is out to the 18th and then Zack Edy is out till the 7th of November. And Scotty Pitman Jr. is out until January 15th. I’m not even sure what injury he has, but um he’s out for a while. Looks like a left big toe injury and he’ll be re-evaluated in 12 weeks. So, it’s where we’re at for this. The game hasn’t started yet for anybody aware. um the Boston Philadelphia game. And this game’s on Amazon Prime, so I can’t for some reason it won’t let me broadcast it, which I wish I could on Twitch since Twitch is owned by Amazon, but but yeah, it’s there’s 11 seconds left in the Boston 76er game, and it’s a one-point lead for the Celtics. And I believe the 76ers just got the ball back. after an offensive foul or something. I don’t even know. It was a weird call, but we’ll see. We’ll see how that ends up. Uh, but this is probably keeping the Laker game from starting on schedule because this one and I think they’re both part of the Emirates NBA Cup. I think that started today. So, um I know the Lakers are in West Group B. I think I think the Grizzlies are on West Group C. They’re either in the in B or C. I know they’re not in group A. Honestly don’t remember. I’d have to look that up directly. But yeah, we’re waiting for the game to start. Um, but once it does, you’ll see this. And then the Grizzlies are shooting 43.5% from the field, 30% from three, 66.7% from the line. They’ve got 12 rebounds and nine assists, three steals. Then they’ve turn over the turn over the ball five times. So, not too bad either way. That’s why the game seems so close because their stats are pretty much almost spot on. And that’s caused the where we’re at now. So, with that being said, it’s 6859 for the Grizzlies currently, but with 1055 remaining in the third. I’ve been paying attention to the um Dodger game. They’re still up three to one, two outs in the top of the ninth. So, they’ve got three outs remaining in the game to take it to game seven. Marcus Smart instead of taking the three took the more the the made the better decision and the higher percentage shot. So it’s 88 87 Memphis right now. Landale hit some shot. And now see that’s a not a high percentage shot that Luca just took. It’s almost like a fadeaway three he just shot. But I think that was because there’s 50 seconds left in the third. And then Contra just hit a three. See, they’re relying on the three. If you don’t hit the three, that’s not a good shot. I know he hit the shot, but it’s like that’s all they’re shooting. The Grizzlies have taken 34 threes so far from the free throw line. 87.5% to 85.7% for the Grizzlies. So, and then at half it was a 10 rebound difference. I think if you guys remember, now it’s only 32 to 28. So, as I was talking about in the third quarter, the Lakers were getting more rebounds. That shows it. And then assists, it’s 25 to 20 now. Steals are still tied with eight each. And then turnovers, the Lakers had 13 to Memphis’s nine, which I think they had that many at half. Um, but yeah, I mean, much better third quarter from the Lakers here. Um, Luca again is leading all scorers with 35. Memphis’s leading scorer is Landell with 14. And then Luca is the leading rebounder in the game. I think now also he’s got nine. The leading rebounder for Memphis has got eight. And then he’s also leading in a he’s John Morant has seven assists to Lucas five. So that’s crazy that Luke is leading all players in rebounds. I didn’t even know Golden State’s number one in the Pacific Division right now. The Lakers win tonight, they’ll be tied with them at 4 and two. There’s a commercial for Running Man on right now, the new one, which I don’t know what I think about that because, you know, I I saw the original one with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
