On the 16th, Nippon-Ham announced that they had won the “Athlete Category” at the “anan Award 2025.”
The special edition, released on March 26th, was the first to feature a professional baseball team on the cover, with Go Matsumoto, Ito, Yamazaki, Mizutani, and Tamiya on the cover, and pre-orders flooded in from the moment the information was released, selling out in four days after release. An unprecedented reprint was then made, achieving an even greater feat.
田宮は「初めて雑誌ａｎａｎの撮影に参加させていただき、光栄でしたし、このような賞までいただき大変うれしいです」。水谷は「最初は恥ずかしさもありましたが、（撮影の）世界に入りきらないといいものは作れないと思ったので、モデルになりきって撮影に臨みました。本当にいい経験させていただきました」とコメントした。
株式会社マガジンハウスは受賞理由を、「変化や挑戦を柔軟に受け入れて、選手そしてスタッフ全員が“大航海”を体現する活躍を見せる日本ハム。チャレンジャーとして誰よりも野球を愉（たの）しみ、ファンを愉しませる皆さまに、『ａｎａｎ ＡＷＡＲＤアスリート部門賞』をお贈りしたいと思います」と説明した。
