“What was probably the toughest step in your career?”
“Minor leagues, I’ll say the first five years… being away from home for like 6, 7, 8 months. You know, just being homesick more than not being good… not getting promoted, being stuck in one spot.”

Now in Mexico, the focus is different:
“Your journey’s awesome. Not a lot of people get to say you went to the finals or maybe even won the championship. If you win, it’s always nice to get rewarded with the rings and stuff.”
