　ソフトバンク・小久保裕紀監督が午前中に福岡・筑後市のファーム施設を訪れた。「柳田と話しに行った」と、長期離脱中の柳田悠岐外野手の状態を確認。４月中旬に右すねへの自打球で離脱した柳田は８月下旬から実戦に復帰している。まだ守備はこなしていないが、指揮官は「きょうは元気そうに打球捕もしていた。週末（の２軍戦）で守りが入っている」と明かした。チーム状況、本人がどの程度の状態であれば昇格が可能なのかなどを直接会話。また、左ふくらはぎ痛の今宮健太内野手については「週末から２軍戦という方向だと言っていた」と見通しを語った。
