Nippon-Ham of Yuma Imagawa outfielder was struck from the registration on March 15 with a right thigh strain.

He suffered the injury when he ran through first base on a three-run double play hit in the fifth inning of a game Seibu against Escon on March 14. The baseball team announced that he underwent an examination at a hospital in Kitahiroshima City on April 14 and was diagnosed with a right hamstring muscle injury. He is expected to return to games in about four weeks.

Imagawa was promoted back to the first team on the 9th and starting line-up in five consecutive games. He had a batting average of .444, two Home Run, and five RBI. He had two multi-hit games and was on the verge of securing a position with his strong bat.
