Softbank infielder Kenta Imamiya injured his left calf and was removed from the active roster on the 5th. He injured it during the sixth inning of the defense Orix (Mizuho PayPay) on the 4th, and was replaced by a pinch hit in the bottom of the inning.

　今宮は８月１９日に左脇腹痛から約２か月ぶりに復帰し、１２試合で３割１分６厘（３８打数１２安打）の好成績。同２７日には史上初の通算４００犠打＆１００本塁打を達成すると、９月３、４日のオリックス戦では２試合連続の決勝打を放つ活躍を見せていた。経験豊富なベテランが優勝争いの佳境で離脱することはチームにとって大きな痛手。今年は開幕から主力に故障者が続出しており、小久保監督は「もう慣れました。今年は…」と話した。
