Strong Arm!! Mannami Chusei 9-3 putout!!

In the bottom of the 4th, Takashi Umino of Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks made solid contact, skillfully driving the ball the other way and immediately sprinting to first. However, Chusei Mannami of Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, who had been waiting right in front of the ball, fielded it cleanly and fired a quick throw to first for the out. The dream “right fielder’s putout at first” challenge was a huge success!
Umino showed perfect hitting and running, but Mannami’s defense topped it all. Even Hawks manager Hiroki Kokubo greeted him back to the bench with a smile, as if to say, “Nothing you could do about that.”
