◆Mynavi All-Star Game 2025 (23rd at Kyocera Dome, 24th at Yokohama)
On the 18th, the Nippon baseball Organization (NPB) announced that Orix outfielder Ryoma Nishikawa who had been selected to play in the “Mynavi All-Star Game 2025” (23rd at Kyocera D, 24th at Yokohama), would withdraw from the game. The reason is that he has injured the lateral collateral ligament in his left ankle. He was selected through fan and player voting, but injured the same area while base running in the game against Seibu on the 1st (Naha). He was removed from the player registration list on the 2nd.
Nishikawa commented through the team, “I am very disappointed that I have to withdraw from the tournament. I feel very sorry to all the fans who voted for me. For now, I will just do my best to do everything I can to return as soon as possible.”
