In the bottom of the 10th, with two outs and no one on, Hiroto Kobukata gets on base with a single, followed by Fumiya Kurokawa’s first hit of the season to set up runners on first and second. Then, Tsuyoshi Ishihara—also recording his first hit of the season—delivers a clutch walk-off single!
The Eagles stayed locked in and strung together three straight hits in a relentless display of focus and fight. Soaked from the rain, Ishihara was drenched even more by a celebratory shower from his teammates after the thrilling win!
