Lotte’s Sammons will start in the game against Hiroshima on the 10th.
Sammons commented through the team, “I think I’ve been able to make good preparations, including pitching in minor league games, and I think my condition is improving. I believe I’m in a position to show my true potential on mound. Now all I have to do is pitch to help the team win. I want to turn the tide with my pitching and end the losing streak.”
Sammons, who joined the team this season, has pitched 12 2/3 innings in three games so far, with a record of one win and one loss and an ERA of 3.55.
