Right behind him is a sliding Connor Hule. That’s a three-run double for Keaptainner. Still in the fifth, Keaptainner at third as the catcher Charlie Connley rips it down the left field line. This one goes to the wall. It’s a double for Connley and a four nothing Santa Clara lead after five. And the Bruins were feeling good. Same score now going to the six. One on for Chiao who lifts it down the line in right. This one is trouble and it drops just fair. Zack Gyos goes to third. He would score on a sack fly. Still in the six and it’s the pitcher Diffenderfer with a rope to right. Chow scores. Here comes Hill. Part of a three-run sixth inning. The only mystery now is would Defendorfer give up a hit. A no hitter with two down in the six. But Noah Mana gets a solid knock to left. That’s the only hit of the game for the Sharks as Defenderfer gets a complete game. One hitter with seven strikeouts as the Santa Clara Bruins get their first ever CCS title in baseball. 8 nothing the final. Defender for coming up huge on the mound for the CCS champion Bruins. Means a lot. You know, we’ve been grinding all year. A lot of people doubted us cuz we were in the B- League, but getting this championship really feels like it solidifies us as like that team.
