Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles mascot “Clutch”

　野球場を元気いっぱいに盛り上げるプロ野球の球団マスコット。2025シーズンも活躍中のパーソル パ・リーグ6球団のマスコットを紹介します。

　東北楽天ゴールデンイーグルスの球団公式マスコット「クラッチ」はイヌワシの男の子。「クラッチーナ」、「スイッチ」とのトリオで楽天イーグルスを応援しています。クラッチという名前には「勝負強いチームとなりファンの心を“わしづかみ（clutch）”する」という願いが込められているそう。

　今回はクラッチくんにアンケートに答えていただきました。クラッチくんのパーソナリティに一問一答形式で迫ります（一部、球団スタッフさんの翻訳にて回答）。

He says I’m the cutest mascot of the 12 teams, and every time I see him, he compliments me on how cute I am!

☆ What I like about Rakuten Mobile Park Miyagi
A place where there are many delicious foods!
I recommend the clutch lunch boxes, which are made with food from Tohoku!

☆ What is something that Mr. Clutch is working especially hard on this year. What do you want fans to see?
shamisen
 My repertoire of songs is growing.

I love it when the The Eagles fans and the fans of the other teams talk to me and get along with me!
Let’s continue to enjoy yakyu together!

If you’re interested in Clutch-kun, be sure to come to Rakuten Mobile Park Miyagi! Before the game, you’ll have a chance to see Clutch-kun’s performance up close at the “EAGLE STAGE” in the stadium’s front plaza. Maybe you’ll even get to see the shamisen performance that he told us he’s been doing so well this year!

At Rakuten Mobile Park Miyagi they are selling stadium gourmet food produced by Clutch-kun, the “Gourmet Clutch Onigiri Bento” (950 yen including tax). As the name suggests, it is a bento box containing Clutch-kun’s favorite onigiri and made with ingredients from Tohoku.
