Had not pitched above double A prior to this season. Started last year in a ball. It’s the kind of arm you might be inclined to promote quickly. But now pitching in a very high leverage situation. Tie game in the eighth with two on and nobody out. Seiya smokes it left field. It’s [Music] gone. Threerun go ahead home run. Seya Suzuki 14th of the year. Cardiac Cubs come all the way back their 118. But this looks very familiar to Friday’s game with all the damage they were able to do against the Reds bullpen. And Suzuki, man, he has been on point today. Single walk double. Rocket to short for a ground out last time. And now this three-run blast. Eight unanswered runs. Last innings rally fueled by some luck, some soft contact that turned into hits. Not the case here in the eighth. Couple home runs, solid single and have worked a walk. Still nobody out.
