Last year’s KD17 was one of my top names in the annual list. This year, many brothers who follow me want me to recommend some shoes with better foot feel. I will recommend KD17 first. However, this pair of shoes also has an obvious shortcoming , which is that its heel locking is not particularly good. When KD18 came this year , it used the same platform as KD17, the same midsole configuration, and the same outsole texture. It only changed the upper. I am actually not disgusted with this kind of small change. If it is true, I can’t think of how the new model should innovate. Then upgrade on the original basis to improve some of the original small problems and make the previous generation even better. This is not a bad thing , right? This is what ASICS has been doing in the past few years . I don’t think there is anything to complain about. Instead of thinking about fancy innovations and making a mess, it is better to just make some small changes honestly. It is a small iteration. This time KD18 is completely no different from KD17 in terms of midsole and outsole. It has the same configuration and the same appearance , so it has inherited all the advantages and disadvantages of KD17’s midsole and outsole. Of course, brothers who have worn KD17 should also know that the most outstanding thing about KD17 is its midsole forefoot ZOOM rear heel Air. Sole’s matching combination performs very well on this pair of shoes. The foot feels excellent and the large area of ZOOM on the forefoot gives it excellent forefoot feedback. There is no sense of leakage at all when pushing hard on the ground . With the forefoot plate, the forefoot can even be used when breaking through . It provides us with a certain sense of propulsion and the performance is very good. Whether it is running normally or when taking off, its midsole transition is also very smooth without any sense of disconnection . The force conduction is very smooth, even with cushioning, there is no problem at all. I weigh 180 pounds and I only use my heels to land on the ground. The midsole of this pair of shoes is really very comprehensive, with almost no shortcomings and excellent reactivity. The cushioning performance is also very good. If you must find some faults with the midsole of this pair of shoes, then the court feel may not be good. It is particularly good and the low heel configuration is the only two shortcomings of its midsole. Indeed, its midsole center of gravity is not too low and it is not close to the ground. It is more like the midsole height of a pair of team shoes. If you are looking for thin-soled fast boots, then this pair of shoes will definitely not be what you want. As for the Air in the heel It would definitely be better if Sole could be replaced with ZOOM , but the current Air Sole’s performance is actually not bad or even very good after experiencing it , so I think it doesn’t matter whether this is changed or not. As for its stability performance, there is no problem at all. Although the center of gravity is not low , fortunately, its outsole is wide enough and flat enough , and the forefoot is also significantly expanded, so when wearing it to play, I feel safe under my feet and there is no unstable feeling. Of course, KD1 The overall strength of 8 is still online. I have been wearing it for a period of time recently, and it has not shown any attenuation in strength. No matter what movements you make , the sneakers under the feet will not show any obvious deformation. No matter how heavy you are , no matter what intensity of the game you play, there is no problem in choosing this pair of shoes. Compared with the previous generation KD17, this pair of KD18 has actually concentrated on its improvement points and its decrease points . On its upper, I believe those who have watched my KD17 video also know that KD17 performs very well in all aspects and is very balanced. Except for the slightly poor heel locking, there are almost no other problems . KD18 solves the problem of insufficient heel locking of the previous generation by increasing the internal padding of the upper , and also removes the bubble decoration on the tongue that was slightly tasteless on the previous generation. Removing the heel lock of the sneakers will also have a more obvious strengthening effect. At least there will be no feeling like the shoelaces of the previous generation . And everyone can also see that KD18 has made a very large area of leather and soft TPU material side wall reinforcement on the side of the sneakers , which further improves the lateral support of the sneakers and the wrapping and locking of the midsection. When doing some lateral kicking movements, the posture of the shoe body will be more stable. Calmly , this is definitely a very significant upgrade for brothers who do a lot of step-back movements. The strength of the upper and the lateral support of the entire pair of shoes will be better than the previous generation. However, because of the reinforcement materials on the sides and the increase in the upper filling , there have been two regressions compared to the previous generation . The first is that the overall weight will increase significantly. The weight of a single size 42.5 is around 415 grams . For a pair of shoes that are more externally oriented, this kind of weight performance can indeed be regarded as a big disadvantage. Another drawback is that its breathability has further declined. Although the breathability of KD17 is not particularly outstanding , the internal padding of KD18 will be obviously thicker. Naturally, it will be hotter after putting it on your feet. After a game, the inside of the shoe will be wet. If you wear it in summer, you will definitely cover your feet very much and care about breathability. Brothers, you must choose carefully . In fact, there is not much that can be said about this pair of shoes. After all, it is an upgraded version of KD17. Although it has decreased in weight and breathability compared to the previous generation , the overall experience is that it is still a very good pair of practical shoes. The KD18 Adam sneakers have a subjective rating of A+. Although this pair of shoes does not have a handsome appearance or luxurious configuration , it is still a pair. A top team shoe, no matter what position you play , no matter what your requirements for sneakers are, you will not be disappointed if you choose it. This is a very versatile shoe that is suitable for a wide range of people. The running experience is excellent, the midsole feedback is excellent , and the overall strength is no problem. Compared with the previous generation, it also has better package locking. If you are not sure what shoes to buy and don’t know what type of sneakers you should choose, then KD18 It will still be a shoe that I highly recommend you to buy. Of course, its price will still be much higher than KD17. After all , it just came out not long ago, right?
