RIZIN男祭り 見所紹介!! チャーリーガイド
thank you for your hard work. It was the first tournament in the Shikoku region. The most memorable match for me was the one between Karshyga Dautbek. A match between TONY LARAMIE and YUKI ITO. YUKI ITO has awakened in this match. YUKI ITO delivered an outstanding performance in this match. This match had a synergistic effect that made it seem worthwhile to have invited competitors from overseas. This match gave us a glimpse into Chihiro Suzuki’s feelings. Karshyga Dautbek responded to Chihiro Suzuki by shouting out loud as he attacked. In the main event, the bantamweight title match, Naoki Inoue defended his title. The match was hard fought. The match was a see-saw affair and either team could have won. As you can see from his expression after the match, Naoki Inoue was not satisfied with his performance. That match made Naoki Inoue realize what it meant to be a champion. It was a shame for Yuki Motoya. When the match was being judged, the voices from the stadium were mostly in support of Yuki Motoya. Hello everyone, I’m CHARLIE KASHIWAGI. The RIZIN OTOKOMATSURI will be held on May 4th. The event will feature a featherweight title bout, the return of Mikuru Asakura, a heavyweight grand prix and more. The event will feature festival-like matches. I will provide commentary on this tournament so that everyone can enjoy it. Please watch the video until the end. Enthusiasm comes from knowledge, CHARLIE GUIDE. I’ll get started. Joe Hiramoto VS TOKI TAMARU. Both fighters are based in kickboxing. Joe Hiramoto started out in kickboxing before switching to MMA. TOKI TAMARU has a proven track record as a professional kickboxer. Joe Hiramoto has more experience in MMA training than TOKI TAMARU. TOKI TAMARU has more experience as a professional fighter than Joe Hiramoto. Joe Hiramoto looked strong at the previous match announcement press conference. Joe Hiramoto looked strong. Joe Hiramoto may be better than TOKI TAMARU. Joe Hiramoto has three MMA fights under his belt, but is a fighter who has yet to grow. Joe Hiramoto’s game has Joe Hiramoto excellent sense. Since Joe Hiramoto has been involved in MMA for a long time, one of the highlights of the match will be whether he has more to offer than Toki Tamaru. TOKI TAMARU is a former RIZIN champion in two weight classes and has excellent striking techniques. TOKI TAMARU is a player whose shots thrive in a world of close distance. The key is how well TOKI TAMARU prepares for MMA. Ren Hiramoto is skilled at using the mental fighting style he developed with BLACKROSE. Ren Hiramoto may set a trap and bring a surprise tactic to the match. BLACKROSE players always have something unique to look forward to. ERSON YAMAMOTO VS DAICHI TOMIZAWA. I was surprised by the matchup. This will be ERSON’s first fight in 1 year and 2 months. ERSON last lost his match to SHIBATA “MONKEY” YUYA. ERSON has been competing in RIZIN since its inception. Erson was 18 at the time and is now 28. ERSON was born into a wrestling family and grew up as an elite wrestler, so he has great potential. Think carefully. ERSON defeated YUKI ITO. ERSON was fighting on equal terms before losing to RYUYA FUKUDA. ERSON has great fighting potential. His opponent was Daichi Tomizawa. The bout will be a combination of ground fighting and striking. DAICHI TOMIZAWA is often invited to perform on big stages. DAICHI TOMIZAWA can deliver stunning performances on the big stage. When ERSON is in good form, he can get carried away and prioritize the exchange of blows, or he can let his guard down. DAICHI TOMIZAWA has a chance of winning if he can get ERSON to fight. DAICHI TOMIZAWA’s sense of touch and precision may be put to good use in a match. TAIO ASAHISA VS YOSHIYA UZATSUYO. This is a RIZIN kickboxing match. TAIO ASAHISA had a great fight at RIZIN BANGAICHI. TAIO ASAHISA’s family comes from a karate family. YOSHIYA UZATSUYO returned to the match after a long absence. YOSHIYA UZATSUYO’s last match was in 2018, so this will be his first appearance in seven years. YOSHIYA UZATSUYO is currently an employee of Fuji Television. I will comment on the next match. Next. JOHN DODSON VS TAKAKI SOYA. This is a RIZIN flyweight bout. The flyweight tournament will begin in July, so the OTOKOMATSURI will be held to build momentum for it. I would like to have a rematch between both men, who fight in a manly manner. The two fighters previously competed under bare-knuckle boxing rules at Super RIZIN. That game was interesting. Although it wasn’t an MMA fight, it was ranked in the top 10 best fights of last year by fans. That’s unusual. The development of the match was shaped by TAKAKI SOYA. In that match, TAKAKI SOYA showed his mental strength by facing anything head-on without backing down. TAKAKI SOYA’s fighting style is perfect for this OTOKOMATSURI. We asked JOHN DODSON to compete in this fight under MMA rules, and he accepted. No one has ever won a fighter under bare knuckle rules, bare knuckle boxing rules, and MMA rules against the same opponent. JOHN DODSON approaches the match motivated by the thought, “I’m going to be the first person in history to do this.” Both players view this match as a continuation of the last one. The previous match was decided by decision, so there was no clear conclusion. Both fighters consider this fight to be one that starts in the sixth round. The match is likely to be a fierce battle right from the start. You should study the content of bare-knuckle boxing matches in advance. In this MMA match, not only punches are effective, but also kicks, knees, elbows, Takedown, ground techniques, and scrambles. Enjoy the changes. The way the game content changes depending on the rules makes it even more interesting when viewed as a single comparison. In his comments, JOHN DODSON said, “I want to give my opponent a full course meal.” JOHN DODSON wants his opponents to enjoy not just punches, but a full course of kicks, knees, elbows, tackles, and ground techniques. It’s enjoyable for those watching the game, but it’s painful for TAKAKI SOYA. The highlight of the match will be how well TAKAKI SOYA can handle JOHN DODSON. HIROYA VS TATSUKI SHINOTSUKA. This is a matchup worthy of RIZIN. This match will be HIROYA’s 25th since turning professional. This fight will be TATSUKI SHINOTSUKA’s first since his MMA debut. This looks to be a match between JTT and BLACKROSE. There may be many fans who will be watching the match between Ren Hiramoto and Mikuru Asakura and feeling the same way they do. The match had a story and both players had character. No matter how the game unfolds, it will lead to the next one. It’s a great story in terms of creating a narrative. HIROYA has been improving his MMA skills recently. HIROYA is complete overall, so it gives the impression of having no weaknesses. HIROYA’s opponent will be TATSUKI SHINOTSUKA, who will be making his MMA debut. This may be a disadvantage for TATSUKI SHINOTSUKA. Logically speaking, this puts TATSUKI SHINOTSUKA at a disadvantage. The key word here is belonging to BLACKROSE. This is something I said about Joe Hiramoto as well. TATSUKI SHINOTSUKA doesn’t take on the normal challenges. TATSUKI SHINOTSUKA may bring some strategy to the match. Remember Ren Hiramoto’s MMA debut? At the time, Ren Hiramoto went into his first MMA debut fight believing he would win, but a harsh reality awaited him. The important thing is how to put into words the experience of the match with Ren Hiramoto and use it as advice for TATSUKI SHINOTSUKA. TATSUKI SHINOTSUKA may have a trick up his sleeve against a serious MMA fighter like HIROYA. If TATSUKI SHINOTSUKA hadn’t had a surprise plan, he wouldn’t have won this match. TATSUKI SHINOTSUKA has experience in bare knuckle boxing and is also a kickboxing champion, so he has striking power. If HIROYA challenges TATSUKI SHINOTSUKA to a striking match, HIROYA will not win. BLACKROSE, with Ren Hiramoto in the team, must have a plan ready. BLACKROSE is a group of people who all love martial arts. BLACKROSE must have some kind of plan up their sleeve. What is it? I look forward to it. That may be decided if he accepts the ground technique. The clue may lie in the process before the ground technique is performed. This match will be enjoyable if you focus on the storyline and the unexpectedness of TATSUKI SHINOTSUKA rather than judging it on paper. I will comment on the next match. DANNY SABATELLO VS SHINOBU OTA. This is a RIZIN bantamweight bout. This is a wrestling showdown between a Division 1 wrestler and an Olympic wrestler. They are both born in 1993, so they are the same age. DANNY SABATELLO is a folkstyle and freestyle fighter. It’s a type of wrestling where leg contact and Takedown are effective. SHINOBU OTA is a wrestler who practices Greco-Roman wrestling, using only the upper body and no foot contact. There is a difference between the two. They are both wrestlers, but the quality of their wrestling is different. This contrast is the interesting part. DANNY SABATELLO comes from a wrestling family. SHINOBU OTA’s family also has a wrestling background. They have a lot in common. Same age. wrestling. Wrestling pedigree. It’s a romantic story that these two men, who have both had successful careers as athletes, will be fighting at the Tokyo Dome. This match is interesting. It is said overseas that DANNY SABATELLO’s matches are only interesting before they start. DANNY SABATELLO will make the most of the wrestling sense that is ingrained in him in his bones when competing. It can’t be helped that the game unfolded in a way that was disappointing. DANNY SABATELLO under RIZIN rules will be a different person. Under the unified rules kicks and knees are not allowed, but they are allowed in Japan’s RIZIN. DANNY SABATELLO used to say something bad about “slamming his knee into his opponent’s skull.” That may not be a lie. DANNY SABATELLO comes from ATT, and his teammate is KYOJI HORIGUCHI, who is well-versed in RIZIN rules. DANNY SABATELLO will surely have a strategy prepared for the match. What measures will SHINOBU OTA take against DANNY SABATELLO? In SHINOBU OTA, the key is how much you can hone your fighting style. It would be convincing if SHINOBU OTA beat DANNY SABATELLO, who is competing for the BELLATOR MMA interim bantamweight championship. DANNY SABATELLO may find himself in a position where he is the hottest prospect in the RIZIN bantamweight division. That fight will be interesting because a win against DANNY SABATELLO would be convincing. I hope SHINOBU OTA will beat the world’s best competitors and have a say in the sport. This is a little bit of trivia. SABATELLO’S SPEAKING WAY IS NOT GOOD. He was fined by the commission because of his poor speaking manner. After the match, he repeatedly yelled FUCK in the ring. He paid a $5,000 fine. Would that be about 750,000 yen? This is expensive! Who will be his interpreter at the OTOKOMATSURI? Isn’t it you? I don’t want to do that. I like him, I don’t hate him. Let us also pay attention to SABATELLO’s interpretation. This is DAISUKE NAKAMURA versus TAISEI SAKURABA. This is a matchup that will make any old-school fighting fan cry with joy. A match with a story like this will be held at OTOKOMATSURI. Do you understand how wonderful this is? Do you understand this flow? That’s improvisational, right? Let me explain. It’s the history of martial arts. He was said to be a solitary genius. That’s KIYOSHI TAMURA. He is a former UWF INTERNATIONAL member and the first 3rd Rings Openweight Champion. NAKAMURA is KIYOSHI TAMURA’s beloved disciple. On the other hand, there is KAZUSHI SAKURABA. He is a professional wrestler and mixed martial artist who moved from UFW to the TAKADA Dojo and competed in PRIDE. They have a senior-junior relationship. KIYOSHI TAMURA is my senior. KAZUSHI SAKURABA is a junior. That’s the story it begins with. KAZUSHI SAKURABA’s son is TAISEI SAKURABA. This is the basics. I’ll explain briefly. They are former classmates and are senior and junior. The senior is TAMURA and the junior is SAKURABA. I’ll explain briefly. SAKURABA went to PRIDE. TAMURA went to RINGS. The rivals ended up fighting in different organizations. After that, TAMURA came to PRIDE. Will this rivalry showdown happen? People in the industry were upset. The match was scheduled to take place in 2003. It was a close call. TAMURA did not accept it. He was teasing. The match that everyone wanted to see did not take place. The match finally took place five years later, on New Year’s Eve 2008. The forbidden battle took place at Dynamite!! in 2008. This is a legendary match. 17 years later, KIYOSHI TAMURA and his student DAISUKE NAKAMURA are active wrestlers. KAZUSHI SAKURABA’s son, DAISUKE SAKURABA, appeared in RIZIN. This story will be carried on at the Tokyo Dome’s OTOKOMATSURI. This story will be passed on. This feels like a dream. Having explained that, I will now explain what kind of player DAISUKE NAKAMURA is. That’s KIYOSHI TAMURA’s playing style. It’s a fluid, spinning move that’s aggressive and never stops. It is an armbar technique that is performed after a spin. How well can TAISEI compete with that? At the press conference, he said he didn’t know much about it. He said he wasn’t aware of it. Even if he doesn’t realize it, the gene will be passed on. There is the one who sets it up and the one who receives it. They are a set. Even in ballroom dancing, we can’t dance well if we’re not in sync. He will have to deal with Daisuke Nakamura’s attacks well. If you don’t respond correctly, you won’t be able to move on to the next step. There is a mechanism for dealing with this. There is a response to that response mechanism. It will repeat forever. We expect a back-and-forth of instigation and response. We focus on the beautiful martial arts that are repeated forever. It’s a match between KIYOSHI TAMURA and SAKURABA. TAMURA did not rotate. He stopped moving and punched SAKURABA. In this way, it is possible that the game will turn out in a way that disappoints us. That’s what’s fun about martial arts. This is a match between MAKOTO SHINRYU and YUKI ITO. The RIZIN flyweight grand prix has been decided. Why did they set up this match? This match has to be set up for the OTOKOMATSURI. That’s what the president said. At the press conference, SHINRYU said the following: He said he was superior. But this is the most recent match. SHINRYU lost by decision to JOSE TORRES in December 2024. ITO won. ITO won a fantastic match that is sure to be a contender for best bout of the year. YUKI ITO has won his last five matches in a row. ITO’s momentum could determine the outcome of this match. That is the case for the current flyweight division of Japan’s RIZIN from ITO’s perspective. The composition includes OGIKUBO and SHINRYU. This is where ITO would win convincingly against SHINRYU. The structure will collapse. ITO will be very enthusiastic about this. That is the key to victory. This is ITO’s ground fighting technique. How well will ITO be able to handle SHINRYU’s ground fighting? I think that will decide the outcome of this match. He couldn’t handle ERSON’s wrestling. He lost a decision to Erson. Next up is HIROYA. HIROYA also came up with a strategy to avoid exchanges of blows and focus on Takedown. He handled it well. ITO learned his lesson in the match against ERSON. In his match against HIROYA, he improved his ground skills. Is SHINRYU’s ground fighting on a different level compared to ITO’s improved adaptability? In a recent match against TORRES, SHINRYU came up with a striking strategy. He showed his boxing. He has shown some amazing batting developments. I watched the match between ITO and LARAMIE the other day. He had little speed and energy. I noticed his footwork. SHINRYU watched that match and will not be boxing against ITO. I don’t think he would make that choice. Knowing this, how will ITO respond? Who will win, ITO’s striking or SHINRYU’s ground fighting? This is one of the highlights of the match. Next up is the match between ISLAMBEK BAKTYBEK UULU and ALEKSANDR SOLDATKIN. This is the first round of the heavyweight grand prix. It’s Kyrgyzstan versus Russia and Germany. SOLDATKIN carries the flags of two countries: Germany and Russia. Another name for ISLAMBEK is Kyrgyz HULK. This is a very strong nickname. He is the heavyweight champion of the Kazakhstan-based OCTAGON LEAGUE MMA. Kazakhstan is famous for Karshyga Dautbek. He is the Central Asian heavyweight champion. Just the title alone makes him seem strong. It was shocking to see so many people wearing two KALPAKs at the Tokyo Dome event. KALPAK is a traditional Kyrgyz hat with embroidery. It’s shocking and it sends shivers down our spine. Let me explain about ISLAMBEK. He grew up in the mountains. He is a wild child who grew up in the mountains. He has the strength of a nomad. Mother Nature nurtured his strength. They are Combat Sambo, Sanda and Boxing. He is an MMA fighter with this background. His punches are beautiful. He is confident with his straight right punch. Either way, his fighting style is straightforward. It is a striking style that revolves around the right straight punch. Once he has his opponent cornered, he goes for the Takedown. ALEKSANDR SOLDATKIN is a military martial artist. He has won various competitions. That’s very rare in the heavyweight division. He often uses spin kicks. When using a spin kick, it is easy for your body’s axis to shift because of your weight. It’s a technique not often seen in the heavyweight division. Due to his strong core, he uses this attack a lot. He doesn’t back down much either. He stays in front of his opponent and keeps throwing punches. It looks like a fight. If the opponent is far away, he kicks. Other than that, he just stays in front of his opponent and punches repeatedly. Inside the RIZIN ring, it looks like a traffic accident. And this is a rematch. They have fought once before. Their match took place in 2020 in an organization called Open FC in Russia. ALEKSANDR SOLDATKIN won by decision over ISLAMBEK. The draw is interesting. So their pairing was decided. They’ve played once, so they’ll definitely want to win the rematch. Because they cannot afford to lose, they will make choices that will help them win. Because they know each other’s techniques, the match couldn’t have gone any other way. Either way, they are unplanned, flashy and aggressive strikers. This match is interesting. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for their re-clash at heavyweight. Next up is the match between MAREK SAMOCIUK and DANIEL JAMES. This is Poland versus America. MAREK has a kind face. His hobby is computer games. He is a simple, good-natured young man. He is a KSW endorsed player. He is a promising player who will continue to grow. KSW is an organization that has been producing athletes since the 2015 Grand Prix. They sent GORAN RELIJIC in the first round. They sent SZYMON BAJOR for the second time. The person they sent for this project was 28-year-old MAREK SAMOCIUK. He is currently on a three-fight win streak with KSW. He’s a young player on a roll. He is from the countryside of Poland. He started MMA because he admired PRIDE. He is really straightforward. He is a fighter like HAJIME NO IPPO THE FIGHTING! He doesn’t have a particularly notable career. He can do anything. He can strike and he can wrestle. He can also do jiu-jitsu. He is proud to be a Polish player. He never backs down. In times of crisis, he grits his teeth and goes into battle. He can make that decision. He has the tenacity to never back down. He is such a fighter. Who will such an innocent MAREK fight against? That’s DANIEL JAMES. Its other name is THE AMERICAN PREDATOR. He’s just big. He falls into the giant category. They are LFA, BELLATOR, and PFL. His height is 198 cm. He has experience in some of the biggest tournaments in North America. He is a big, experienced fighter. His height is 198 cm. At 43 years old, I am an experienced person. Yes, he’s been in the game for a long time. His completion percentage is 94% in 22 matches. No matter who he’s playing against, he’ll finish the game to the end. That was the last game. He exceeded the heavyweight standard of 120kg. He is a big player. I don’t want him to be overweight. To reach the target weight of 120 kg, he has to lose weight. That’s how big he is. This is also an interesting match. Marek Samociuk, who is only 184cm tall, stands up to such a giant. That is when he uses DEMPSEY ROLL. We will instantly become his fans. We’ll be looking at a heavyweight height match. This will also be a spectacular match. We are also very much looking forward to this match. Next up is the match between TSUYOSHI SUDARIO and JOSE AUGUSTO. JOSE AUGUSTO is a fighter from Brazil recommended by the LFA. That is, until JOSE was nominated. As an initiative of the association, we asked people to nominate their champions. We asked EDWARD SOARES, president of LFA. If anything, the two current LFA champions are wrestlers. The title match was taking place. Whoever wins the title match will be the wrestling champion. He’s not the champion, but his style is suited to Japan and will make for an interesting match. He is a well-built player. JOSE AUGUSTO is a powerful fighter that is popular with Japanese people. He confidently recommended JOSE. JOSE will put on a fight that RIZIN will be satisfied with. This is how JOSE was selected. EDWARD SOARES, the LFA promoter, is a great guy. He has a lot of experience and knows martial arts very well. I understand why the promoter recommends JOSE. He trains at the PITBULL BROTHERS gym. Their playing style is more ferocious than theirs. It is even more ferocious than its PITBULL siblings. He attacks himself. He doesn’t wait. He is a courageous player with a strong will. When he wins, it’s spectacular. Even when he loses, it’s spectacular. What kind of match will this be? That depends on SUDARIO. I want them to play a fight that doesn’t involve using their heads, but is more like a fistfight. I want them to fight just like TAFA. I want them to play a big game. He is a player known for his flashy performances. We expect a game full of brute force and manliness. This is a OTOKOMATSURI! I’m looking forward to it. Next up is the match between MIKIO UEDA and SHOMA SHIBISAI. This is the final bout of the first round of the heavyweight grand prix. I watched the draw and felt heartbroken. The first round match between the practice buddies has been decided. When I saw this combination, I thought the lottery was cruel. They practiced together in the morning. That’s true. This match has been decided. This is a showdown. I want them to forget that they are peers. I want them to give it their all. It’s a way to change your mindset as a professional. This is a classic striking and ground fighting match. This is a battle between striker and grappler. They both have 100% success with their match-deciding moves. They know each other’s match-deciding moves. They practice together so they know each other’s techniques. This will be a difficult match. UEDA came into MMA with a strong stand-up streak. This is not because I am not good at ground fighting. However, he will not be able to master the ground fighting technique well. This was evident in his match against SEMISLAV KOWALCZYK at RIZIN 47 in June 2024. He thought he was going to have a shootout with SEMISLAV KOWALCZYK. However, SEMISLAV KOWALCZYK used a different attack than usual and won by submission. UEDA never expected him to attack on the ground. That’s the difficulty of MMA. He will have experienced the depth of MMA. He needs to come up with a plan to deal with ground fighting. He has to figure out how to fight. He must learn strikes that won’t knock him down. He will conquer it. He is practicing with SHIBISAI. He will know the strategy. Let us take a look at the battle between a familiar striker and grappler. They know each other’s attacking styles. It’s a battle of striking and grappling. This is a heavyweight championship match between two Japanese fighters. Regarding this year’s RIZIN Heavyweight Grand Prix, various such dramas were already unfolding at the time of the draw. There’s a lot to look forward to right from the first round. No matter how it turns out and who advances to the semi-finals, this story will continue into June. It will continue to be a steady one. So, let’s watch the first round carefully and look forward to the next round. KYOHEI HAGIWARA VS TAISEI NISHITANI. HAGIWARA defeated his opponent within seconds. That lasted 26 seconds. Thanks to that performance, he earned a ticket to participate in this year’s OTOKOMATSURI. Here, I will quiz you. HAGIWARA won his fight against MISECH by KO in 1st round, 26 seconds, but how fast was that in RIZIN history? Time is up. This is a tie for 12th place. A win by 26 seconds wouldn’t even get you a top 10 finish. The first place time was 7 seconds, between CHARLES BENNETT and MINORU KIMURA. Second place, at 8 seconds, went to TSUYOSHI SUDARIO vs. KAZUSHI MIYAMOTO. Third place, at 9 seconds, went to KYOJI HORIGUCHI vs IAN MCCALL. Fourth place, at 11 seconds, was the match between KANA WATANABE and SHIZUKA SUGIYAMA. Fifth place, with a time of 19 seconds, was the match between YUSUKE YACHI and MARIO SISMUNDO. In 6th place, with a time of 20 seconds, was SHOJI vs. Chihiro Suzuki. Also in 6th place is the match between RENA and ALEXANDRA ALVARE. 8th place, with a time of 21 seconds, was between ROBERTO SATOSHI SOUZA and LUIZ GUSTAVO. Also in 8th place is the match between KYUNG PYO KIM and TURAL RAGIMOV. Tenth place, with a time of 22 seconds, was the match between KYOHEI HAGIWARA and YOJIRO UCHIMURA. 11th place, with a time of 23 seconds, was the match between MEHMAN MAMEDOV and YUSAKU NAKAMURA. 12th place, with a time of 26 seconds, was the match between KYOHEI HAGIWARA and TOBY MISECH. Also in 12th place is the match between TAISEI SAKURABA and YUSUKE YACHI. So, HAGIWARA has defeated his opponents in under 30 seconds twice in the past. This is an amazing achievement. He could be the king who takes down his opponents in seconds. NISHITANI will now face HAGIWARA, who has made a complete comeback and emerged victorious. I see him as an MMA fighter with really solid grappling. But he likes fighting. He’s going to hit his opponent anyway. Yes, I agree. But he’s also had success in kickboxing. He excels with his striking, so he could be defined as a striker rather than a grappler. I don’t know how NISHITANI will fight. HAGIWARA probably has a clear idea of what he wants to do. So I think the outcome of the match will depend on how NISHITANI fights. HAGIWARA is also a fighter who effectively uses low kicks from the early stages of a match. How will NISHITANI respond and react to this low kick? I think that will affect how the game unfolds later on. How will NISHITANI respond to HAGIWARA’s low kick early in the match? This will help us predict what will happen next, so keep an eye out for the low kicks he throws early on. Next up is RYO TAKAGI vs KYOMA AKIMOTO. TAKAGI is 25 years old and is currently on a two-fight winning streak. Akimoto is 19 years old and lost to Yuki Motoya on New Year’s Eve. However, that was simply because Yuki Motoya’s experience and overall ability surpassed his. He dominated the striking battle, something that even Yuki Motoya didn’t like. A match after a loss involving a young, high-quality player is definitely worth paying attention to. He was young and fearless and had never known defeat. So he must be frustrated and never want to lose again. He will be looking to thoroughly correct the reasons why he lost before his return match. His opponent, TAKAGI, lost his first match against SUGURU NII. And he won the next match. He was very strong in his comeback. He defeated his opponent in a stunning KO in his return fight. So, TAKAGI understands AKIMOTO’s enthusiasm. TAKAGI knows that all of Akimoto’s enthusiasm and mentality for his return match after his first defeat will be directed towards him. Mentally, this will be a tough match for TAKAGI. They are also both good strikers. They both have some solid moves. TAKAGI’s special move is a right straight, while southpaw AKIMOTO’s special move is a left straight. In other words, it’s a battle between left and right fighters. This is what’s called an open stance, a match between a right-handed player and a left-handed player. If possible, watch them fight for position on their front paws. They should both move out. Which of them is moving their front leg outwards? By watching it, you can see the exchange of blows and which of them is having the advantage in the match. Once Akimoto gets into a rhythm, he has a tendency to throw punches repeatedly. Once TAKAGI gets into the rhythm, he throws punches from the same distance. Their hitting is a little different in terms of distance and setting the rhythm. They will both be hoping to get a good win here, become regular competitors, and lead the next generation of RIZIN fighters. I’m really looking forward to seeing how they fight and show their manliness at the OTOKOMATSURI. Next up is Mikuru Asakura vs Chihiro Suzuki. Due to Ren Hiramoto’s absence, there was a lot of confusion regarding who Mikuru Asakura would face in his return match. The match was decided when Chihiro Suzuki came forward and said that she was the only person he could face. I have no idea how this match will unfold. Mikuru Asakura kept his distance and showed off a variety of weapons from the early stages, putting his opponent on a passive footing and taking control of the match. He counterattacks when his opponent is in a difficult position and attacks. His fighting style is very intelligent, as he scatters bait and sets traps in various places. On the other hand, Chihiro Suzuki is the type of player who ignores all of that and jumps right into the traps himself. I can’t predict how this match will go because they have such contrasting styles of fighting. We’ll just have to wait until the bell actually rings to see what this match will bring. I wonder what will happen next? I agree. yes. I think Mikuru Asakura will be facing a tough opponent in his return match. This is called the “Manliness Festival.” Yes, this is truly a manliness fest. I really can’t predict how this match will play out. I don’t know what kind of match this will be. But I think whoever strikes first has the advantage. Mikuru Asakura has a strong tendency to show off his various weapons first, then set traps and wait for his opponent to strike. Chihiro Suzuki also gradually gets his opponent to make a move, then lands a solid punch before finishing him off in one go. They are both cunning predators and hunters. That’s why I think whoever attacks first has the advantage. What this will be, I really don’t know. I am enjoying this story. The return of Mikuru Asakura. And Chihiro Suzuki’s manliness. What happens when they are combined? It’s like a martial arts experiment. Festivals are good, but there can only be one winner. I want to watch this match, believing that no matter what the outcome, it will lead to something good. Next up is the RIZIN featherweight title match between Kleber Koike and challenger RAZHABALI SHAIDULLOEV. The RIZIN featherweight division is said to be a fierce battleground, with the ultimate showdown taking place at the Tokyo Dome. Although this may appear to be a battle between foreign players, Kleber Koike will be fighting for Japan. RAZHABALI has really come through with incredible momentum. He is still undefeated and holds a perfect record. Moreover, he has finished all 13 of his fights in less than two rounds. He is truly the strongest challenger. Let’s take a look at their most recent games. Kleber Koike defeated YUTAKA SAITO by choke, ARCHULETA by Heel Hook, and won by decision over Chihiro Suzuki. He’s recently won three matches in a row. SHAIDULLOEV won by choke over KOJI TAKEDA, by Armbar over ARCHULETA, and by ground and pound over YUTA KUBO. All of these wins are FINISH. This will truly be a showdown to determine the strongest fighter in RIZIN, and a title match of the highest level. The champion is, of course, very strong. His FINISH percentage is 91%. A 91% finish rate after 42 races is astonishing. He is a great fighter, so this is not the time for people to say “Kleber Koike’s Japanese is cute.” In contrast, SHAIDULLOEV, who has a perfect record, is only 24 years old. What will happen in this match? It is truly a dramatic experience to see such talented fighters compete for the RIZIN belt. The highlights of this match are pretty clear. Although Kleber Koike has a high finish rate, he struggles against physically superior opponents. The same applies to players with good crisis management skills. RAZHABALI is physically superior. It remains to be seen whether he has the ability to manage a crisis. But he probably has the ability. In that case, how should Kleber Koike fight to beat him? One key thing to remember here is that he’s only 24 years old and undefeated. He has also consistently defeated his opponents in less than two rounds. So his fearlessness and recklessness will likely have an impact on whether he wins or loses. I watched him play against ARCHULETA and thought to myself, He is certainly reckless, going for the win by submission even though failure would put him at a disadvantage. How will Kleber Koike use his experience and skill to exploit this really small weakness? They’re both pretty capable people. No matter who becomes the champion, everyone can confidently say, “RIZIN’s featherweight champion is amazing.” I think this is that kind of title match. Thank you for watching this video until the end. This will be the second time that RIZIN has been held at the Tokyo Dome. We should definitely watch it live at the venue. Tickets to the event are now on sale. Let’s all join together and witness this excitement at a packed Tokyo Dome. Thank you very much everyone. 280 days have passed since that defeat.
