[Music] sound that it makes off of his Bat like I remember the the walkoff the other day that line drive it hit in the right field it just sounded like it’s like an explosion when he hit it I think asking them their thought process on the splitter and how they learned the splitter and kind of when I started throwing this spitter I feel like yeah you know I already knew like how good he was but to see it every day is it’s different you know I it wasn’t I think aware of how hard he hits the ball all the time you know even his outs are like 105 miles out off the bat it’s like every time he swings it’s 100 plus it seems like uh off the bat and just the sound that it makes off of his Bat like I remember the the walkoff the other day that line drive he hitting the right field it just sounded like it’s just like an explosion when he hit it it’s it’s really it’s really special uh to be able to watch that kind of talent it’s been it’s been a lot of fun yeah yeah that’s true I didn’t really think about that but it is it is louder here for sure a lot more fans um I think just like it just makes it more fun you know when he hits the ball so hard he hits home run the stadium goes nuts I mean it’s just such a cool thing to be a part of and be able to witness yeah yes I remember he hit a home run off me I think yeah uh yes I do remember that so I think I got him once but he uh he definitely I remember that home run he had off me for sure came in a little bit yeah go back over the middle don’t want to miss there to show like up and into a guy Sam kind of go down away to a lefty and it kind of rides up and in sometimes you’ll get to swing and Miss on that with the movement it’s kind of like coming in at him but he’s so good at I feel like tracking the ball and he’s so good on just like pulling his hands in he’s got that swing that just that Barrel comes through and he’s obviously when a barrel comes through and he makes contact it’s going a long way but I’m glad I could get you back on back hot again last year oh man any of the Japanese players yeah I can go to dinner with any one of them and ask them anything uh let’s see if I could go to dinner with I don’t know really any of the pictures like that throw like their splitter I think asking them their thought process on the splitter and how they learned the splitter and kind of when they started throwing the splitter CU I feel like iwakuma had a splitter I know um Kikuchi splitter yoshinobu has a splitter um you know so I think like just talking to those guys about their their experience coming through the system and how they grew up if that was a pitch I started throwing early on or like like how just how that’s such like a big part of the repertoire not a lot I don’t think it’s a pitch I’ll ever throw it’s just something that like fascinates me just like how just the way they teach pitching in in in Japan you know and how it uh how it differs from how I learn yeah and Sh of course yeah you don’t even think about it CU he’s not pitching this year but yeah he throws a splitter too so it’ll be interesting to talk to those guys at some point about how they how they kind of learned pitching and what pitches came first and how they kind of developed their their split
