I’m scott barlow with the kansas city royals relief pitcher this is my wife clancy we’re going to show you around our crib our solitude grand design so we have a 41 foot long fifth wheel camper uh with four total slides two on this side two on the other two awnings
So when it’s nice outside we sit outside uh kind of enjoy the day a little map kind of where we’ve taken it so far missouri where we are now all the way out to arizona for spring training got a nice little uh barbecue station uh and right now we’re at full hookups so
We got electricity we got water everything you need and uh one day we’ll you know we want to do some boom docking where we’ll take a uh a generator and store some water but uh let’s go check out the inside so we’re now in the entrance of the camper
We always love being greeted by harry and then little heidi over here a little nugget right by the front door we kind of have like a command center where we got all of our lights and then our slides so when we’re getting ready to go we go to a new campsite
We’re able to slide all the slides in and out um fuse box down here um so when scotty had the idea a couple of years ago to start living in a camper all season i kind of thought he was crazy i’ve been camping when i was younger but
Living in a camper full-time is completely different as far as what you need than if you’re just camping for a weekend but i think the one that we got checks all the boxes we really love it so over here we have a wine bar kind of beverage
Area with a second refrigerator which is kind of cool a full residential size refrigerator and this runs off of electricity some or just propane we have a full pantry here we have a dishwasher here i never thought i would be so excited about having the dishwasher in my whole life it’s probably my
Favorite part of the hamper um we have appliances that work on both propane and electricity depending on what you have at your campsite or what you need we have a fireplace slash entertainment center this is i think this is your favorite part oh yeah so this looks cool but it’s really just
So when we’re traveling and pulling the camper the television doesn’t get messed up then over here we have a full-size couch that’ll pull out to sleep or something So this is harry’s favorite part of the camper it’s the bedroom uh we got a king-sized bed the sizes are a little bit different in campers it’s a little bit more narrow but the length is the same which is uh which is perfect um full windows on each side uh charging
Ports little nightstands next to each side too and over here uh nice windows where harry gets to look out there’s some chickens some rabbits and some goats that are around uh the campground that he loves uh barking at this door is our bathroom with Plenty of room Uh we got two sinks over here a big mirror and then a full-size shower that you can actually fit in Last but not least the closet where we can store our clothes and then in this side we have a washer dryer which is very handy so that’s the inside of our crib uh tomorrow we leave so i think tonight calls for a celebratory bonfire and then tomorrow we’ll pack everything
Up and head out so right now we’re getting ready to pack up and leave he’s sweeping all of the leaves and things off of the slides so when we bring them in a lot of the dirt and stuff doesn’t get inside now we’re just venting all of our tanks
We’ll get the power unhooked get the water all out so that we’re not fishing uh carrying out any extra weight um and then we’ll put the slides in so everything’s kind of hatched down we’ve got the chairs tied up stuff in the sink now it’s time to put in the slides There we go the doors have to be secure so they aren’t flopping around and i think we’re pretty much ready to go you good barlow We’re all hooked up ready to head out we’re gonna miss kansas city uh we love it here but uh we miss our family and we’re really excited to see them uh i just wanna thank the fans you know sticking in there with us uh even though you couldn’t come to kaufman stadium we
Uh we surely missed you but next year hopefully we’ll be able to see you guys and all uh party together You
