Kenta Chatani cracks the first home run of his seven-year career, a two-run shot in the second inning, and the Chiba Lotte Marines use a ninth-inning rally to edge the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters 3-2 at Zozo Marine Stadium on Aug. 12. Chatani’s shot goes out deep to left and scores Hisanori Yasuda, who singles ahead of him, and Hiromi Oka’s walk-off single in the final inning wins it for Lotte.
